The door men weren’t doing their jobs. They just standing outside. He didn’t help with our suitcase when we left and tried to get in the taxi.

Language was an issue as most staff don't speak English and other languages apart from Chinese. There were selected staff who could communicate in English. The weather in April was cool in Shanghai not cold but the Hotels set their Air Conditioning to 22 degrees. Some people like myself felt quite hot since the comforters are very warm too. There are air conditioner controls in every room so each guest can control the temperature to what they are comfortable. But the Hotel locks the limit to 22 even if you set the temperature to the lowest value. They did provide me a fan with water and it did cool a little more but it is not fair since it is inconvenient and not worth the price paid.

Everything was good including breakfast, stagg, location, rooms, etc.

I honestly can't find anything that I didn't like in this hotel. I think this is the first time I am rating hotel with 10 in all segments. Kudos to all the people working there and running it.

Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Room are spacious and very nice, toilet perfectly clean with all amenities and beautiful view (18th floor). Breakfast was really good with constantly freshly baked selection of pastry and other food options. Additionally, there is a section where Chinese cuisine is offered so it's a real 10+ ! Hotel has a separate restaurant (2 if I am not wrong) as well as very nice lobby cafe and bar, serving diferentan food and drinks late into the night. As our flight was very late (23::50) on the check-out day the held our luggage for the whole day and person in charge at reception (Ms.Tina, if I remember correctly) allowed that we use shower at gym/swimming pool so that we can refresh and change our clothes after long day in Shanghai and before our flight. The location of the hotel is superb , with Nanjing road, People's Park and U1/U2/U8 metro stations 1min away. Next time in shanghai, I will have no doubt where to stay,

Lovely staffs and of course the location . Near to the hop and off sightseeing bus, near nanjing shopping district, lots of food options, lots of shopping malls so options are endless, near metro etc. would recommend others to stay here.

It is an excellent hotel that is well located. There is a big mall right next to the hotel with many food options. Nanjing East Road is just around the corner and it is easy to get around from the hotel. The cleaning staff is friendly and kind. The general reception staff are always ready to help. Totally recommended.

The room was very clean and comfy. Location is just to shooping area. I upgraded myself to the club access and it is really worth it. Good selection of drinks and food in the lounge. The staff is very polite and professional. Will shure come back on my next trip to Shanghai.

Great location! 5-minute walk to Nanjing road, People's Park and lots of restaurants next to the hotel. We also walked to the Bund which was approx 25 minutes through Nanjing road. A nice bakery right outside to pick up a quick breakfast or snack. Very courteous staff 😊

The deposit is a bit high, otherwise everything else is fine.

The standard in the hotel is very good and the staff are very helpful and nice. We tried the gym, and it has a lot standard equipment, which exceeded our expectations. The location is very good and central in Shanghai. You have a lot of restaurant and fast food options available. Though the price is high, but it might be worth it.
