Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United KingdomService could be warmer and more proactive. We arrived without anyone welcoming us or asking if we needed help with luggage, and the (presumed) concierge looked very upset and indifferent when I asked for help with our suitcases. Staff need more training. I needed to extend my stay and when I tried to do it, the gentleman at front desk was really struggling with what he needed to do, and needed to be instructed and corrected by another staff member. On our day of arrival the door lock was not working. It was surprising the staff member who led us to the room did not discover it, as she opened the door herself. This however was dealt with very soon after being raised. Due to its location near the Disney resort, not a lot of amenities are available close by, e.g. convenient stores/ pharmacies. The closest convenience store is 20 min’s walking away. And due to local regulations around the area, it was impossible to book delivery, making choices of food and drink very limited (only available is the hotel restaurant in fact).
Good location, close to the Disney resort. Room is good and service is responsive. Decor of the room looks great, and minibar is all free. The Bicester Village Shanghai is very close, offering good shopping.

Upon arrival staff did not speak any English which made communication difficult and a taxi ordered through the same staff for the morning did not arrive which delayed our trip to the airport. Had to pay the hotel cash for the taxi and they did not have change for the correct amount. Hotel facilities are fine but reception staff need more training.
