Breakfast could have been more robust. We arrived 45 minutes before they closed and had to ask for refills on most things including fruit and breads. The staff were quick to respond, but seemed to miss the lack of food in the first place.

The hotel facility and staff were outstanding! Cocktails and snacks in the lobby bar were great! Very nice atmosphere.

I loved everything

Oh where do I start, they allowed us into the room before the check-in time. It was a relief for us after such a long flight. The hotel had really festive vibes and everyone was always smiling and helpful. We had amazing breakfast spread for 3 days and loved their food and service! They also gave us free dinner when we were scourging for food, although there were a couple of nice restuarants just across the hotel. We were looking for somthing simple food which was exactly they offered - Shrimp Fried Rice ,so yummy. They have free laundry service available and all the staff were kind and polite. I think everyone in China is helpful and kind, my experience in this 13 day trip. Wifi is seamless and rooms are comfortable and metro is like 200 meteres or so. It is located centrally, in the cool wanfujing area. You can take direct metro to temple of heaven line 5. Near to forbbiden city. Also they celebrated my birthday with all the grand decoration and gifted me a cute teddy. The location is posh and you can walk around to the place and near by jinbao tower at night.

there is a little sound between the rooms, but that is hard to change. I would book it again when travelling to beijing.

The location can't be beat. Easy access to Chang'an Avenue and the Second Ring, but secluded from that traffic and indeed from all traffic by being behind the Regent Hotel. Surrounded by beautiful shops and sits on top of the Dengshikou subway stop. Room is spacious, quiet, and well supplied. As beautiful as is the location and room, is the price. I stayed during what seems like a low season and hadn't seen prices like this since the 1990s. Unless the price triples,I think this is now my favoriate hotel in Beijing.

Can get warm in room as air con is off in winter. Left windows open but they gave us a fan WiFi could have been better , tv could have better connection .

A special big thank you to the English speaking concierge Nick and Andy. They were a great help in giving good advice. Nick especially was very welcoming and supportive. They made reservations for me for the Forbidden City, Peking opera at the National Theatre and taxis etc. Without Nick and Andy I would have been very frustrated. Be prepared. Almost all tourist sites booking websites are in Chinese. Even the Forbidden City website requires an email address to book, but I have Yahoo and Gmail, both of which are blocked in China.

All good - I really enjoyed my stay.

Location is perfect (more or less above subway station Dengshikou, Line 5). Room was fantastic, clean, beds were very comfortable. Bathroom with bathtub was great. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Laundry room was very convenient. Breakfast had a great selection (also if you prefer westerner food).

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

The location is central, close to the Dengshikou subway station. It is quiet as the hotel is tucked behind the Regent Hotel. My taxi driver from the airport had difficulty locating the entrance to the hotel so I was dropped off by the side road as it was easier for me to walk for a minute rather than having the taxi circling the area trying to locate the entrance! The deluxe room is spacious and clean. Breakfast had a good mix of western and chinese options. Staff were very hospitable and helpful.

We first stayed for 3 nights and return for another 2 nights. For the return 2 nights stay, we were given the room nearest to the lift and the configuration of the room was different even though the room type we booked is the same. The wardrobe and luggage rack was besides the bed and if u dont close the wardrobe door, the lights inside the wardrobe will always be on. The lady incharge of our check-in was totally not smiling and do not make us feel welcome. Very different from the reception we received for our 1st 3 nights of stay.

Good location, only 2 mins from metro line 5, also walkable to wangfujing (800m walk). Has shopping centre 5 mins nearby with a supermarket. Convenience store opposite hotel. Room has 6 bottles of water which was much appreciated. Housekeeping did a very good job as the room was really clean.

Breakfast could be better - some dishes are not looking and taste great. Forks and spoons sometimes were not so clean. Ventilation system in our room needs to be cleaned (smells nasty) - we used to open window.

Location is awesome. Dengshikou metro station's just 50m. Hotel isn't brand new although pretty clean. Staff is really helpful (special thanks to Kevin for solving issue with extra bed for kid). Really comfortable beds. Acceptable breakfast for European stomach. Grocery store 24h is next door - piece of advice: there's Alipay and Wechat self-checkout terminal (don't accept bank cards) BUT you can pay with cash - just ask employees.

Subway just round the corner. Away from main road which is just perfect. Staff were very helpful. I had a late flight. They offered me late checkout at 2pm, and also a shower at the hotel gym before I left for the airport at 8pm. Hotel stay was very comfortable and all that you would expect.
