The room wasn’t cleaned up well.

The staff is very helpful, special thanks to the room attendant James Guo. He managed to clean my room promptly when I complained to FO that the room was still very dirty while I first came to the room after check-in.

The only blight was when I arrived at 3pm the room wasn't ready. I left for some shopping and when I came back at 4:30pm the room still wasn't ready. Check In was at 3pm and I was annoyed as I had seen many people check in before me. I explained my displeasure and they found me another room.

The Club lounge package was very good value for the dinner meal and drinks. The Suite was very nice and clean and the TV had a good package.

From the moment we checked in to the moment we left, this place was a disappointment. First of all, when we arrived, we had the surprise that the reception is on the 5th floor and the lobby on the ground floor was very cold and empty, looked as if it was abandoned. When we checked in we didn't receive enough information about WiFi, breakfast times, hotel facilities or anything else except for how much we had to pay. The room had enough deposit spaces, but most of them were locked basically useless. Neither of the three phones in the room was working. There were 5-6 leaflets with information in the room, but nothing helpful for the basic needs - again, like the restaurants/ facilities in the hotel and their opening times. On our first night we had a buffet dinner, where the food was less than mediocre and when I asked for a handful of boiled pasta, with no sauce, the chef refused to give it to me. The WiFi was weak, it kept disconnecting, so we used our local mobile data. I wouldn't recommend this hotel, maybe the other hotels around it are a far better option.

1. We arrived at the hotel at 12:20 and, as the kids were too hungry, we went straight to the 6th-floor Chinese restaurant for a meal. To quickly have lunch, we ordered noodles, thinking they would be prepared the fastest. However, we had to wait until 1:20, an hour later, when the noodles were finally ready, and by that time, we were already angry and decided to leave. On that day, half of the tables in the restaurant were empty, so I believe the hotel has serious issues with restaurant management. 2. The hotel's swimming pool has been outsourced to some coaches who provide swimming lessons to non-resident guests. 3. The Wi-Fi in the rooms is very unstable. 4. The hotel staff lacks proper training, and they are unable to anticipate customers' needs. The hotel layout is extremely unreasonable; the check-in counter is on the 5th floor, yet not a single staff member informed me of this. I went to the 6th floor for a meal, then returned to the 1st floor, only to be told about the check-in being on the 5th floor. 5. The restaurant that serves breakfast has a children's playground, causing an extremely noisy dining environment.

That my stay ended at this fabulous hotel😒

Everything about this place was fantastic. The location 10 minutes walk to the beach, across the road is a high end Shopping Mall, subway station at the hotel entrance. Breakfast buffet filled with varieties of Chinese and Continental food of choices. As a foreigner was able to communicate with the outer world on WhatsApp and WeChat which I wasn’t able to do in other hotels in China due to internet restrictions.

There was one staff on front desk made me freak-out. Because of this person I avoided to go breakfast even front desk. And I will stay away from this place for very long time. And marriott bonvoy will think next time for other locations.

Breakfast, although with sufficient food choice, but not well organized the location, bit difficult to find what one want.

location is quite good, just approx. 500m walk distance to "5.4 square", even the trip time is tight, still able to squeeze couple of minutes to take a look and enjoy the view. Room is big and comfort with all the necessary facilities, lounge drink and buffet is a bonus, it worth the price. Staff is extremely nice, much better than Westin Beijing.
