The hot water shower had to wait to let it be ready to use (the property has put a sign inthe shower box, but it is in Chinese, which would be better to do both English and Chinese)

Room cleaness and the toilet is automatic toilet seat. The manager and staff were quite helpful, kind (we got extra drinking water every day of our stay), even the language was still a bit problem. This place is in the North side of the old town, which is more quiet than the South side. If you like a peaceful rest time in the night, this place may answer the question.

Hearing was an issue as it was perpectually cold with floor heating and with wooden construction there were gaps between leaking cold air into the room. Other issue we were irritated by were the staff were communicative before check-in and once we settled in they stopped replying. We even went to the original inn to look for them for assistance but twice we went there nobody was manning the place.

We stayed not in the property as described as they communicated having heating issue to the room we were assigned to and moved ua to the owner's house in a quiter area. This was a plus. Very clean and comfortable for our 3-nigts stay. Big room in Japanese setup and bathroom.

Beautiful property in a great location inside the old town of Lijiang. Bed was extremely comfy, bathtub in the room was a plus and the views from the second floor were beautiful. Also the host is very friendly and helpful :)

Bathroom should have more hooks or racks to place towel or clothes (it only had one so was a bit inconvenient, we had to bring a stool into the bathroom to place towel/ clothing. The common area was a little messy but maybe because it was cleaning/ housekeeping time. Dirty sheets and luggages were placed around the patio/ yard so I couldn't take any nice pictures unlike the photos shown :) PSA to all future travelers - we booked a package via the accommodation to the Jade Dragon (Yulong) Snow Mountain. I'm not sure if we will do it again (I would instead book directly via a travel agency in ancient town) as there was a lack of communication/ information that would have been useful to receive beforehand. For example, only on the night before the tour (11pm) did we find out the pick up time the next morning (530am). The accommodation was also unable to provide us the actual itinerary, and had set a wrong expectation by claiming the driver would send us to whichever attraction we would like to go (when in fact, it is a fixed itinerary as you'd be on a vehicle with 10+ over people). On the morning of, we got a message from the driver at 450am that we needed to show up 10min earlier (520am) or the car would leave without us. As you'd imagine, we had a mad rush and it was extremely stressful and upsetting. At the tour, our package included admission tickets to Impression Lijiang, an outdoor performance. Lo and behold - the driver told us he wasn't informed that we were going to the performance and REFUSED to send us there (at this stage we were not even surprised). Although everything worked out in the end after several Wechat messages back and forth, it was still an unpleasant experience for us. Although in all fairness, the lady was very helpful in answering all questions and even giving tips on weather, bars to check out etc. before and throughout the stay.

Location was in ancient town and we were a mere 1-min walk into their busy street of shops and restaurants so it was great. Room was beautiful, comfortable and clean and had everything we needed.

The property is clean and the location is great. The hotel is inside the ancient city of Lujiang. The staff (DianDian) is super friendly and helped us book a taxi and also gave us good recommendations on where to eat and what to see. I would recommend this place to anyone!

The hotel was near to the North Gate of Lijiang Old Town, a backdoor leads directly to all the shops and restaurants which was super convenient. If you would like to go for short side trips during your stay, the hotel can help store your luggage. The hotel staff are also very friendly and responsive to our enquries, helping us to arrange for airport pick-up upon our request. The room was clean and spacious as well. Highly recommended!

Return stay after Lugu Lake. We left our luggage with the hotel while we went for our size trip. The hotel was nice to take care of our stuff . Xiao Xue the receptionist was super helpful during our stay. Highly recommended 👌

The property is generally clean, but they should work on their high area cleaning, as it can be quite dusty.

It is located inside the old city, so travellers with heavy luggage do that note that it will be less accessible and inconvenient to pull your luggage, although they have a back door that is closer to a carpark where the didi driver can drop you off. The view from the property is very nice, and despite being in the old city, it is very quiet at night. I liked that their shower and toilet area is separated. The lady boss Xiao Xue is very friendly, providing us with recommendations around the old town and POIs. People who are allergic to cats, do take note that the property has an adorable white cat, but don't worry, it will not enter your room.

This accommodation is located very close to the North gate which is very easy to access from the main road. There’s also local tricycle service to deliver the luggages to this place( not free). The other entrance leads you the old town, very easy to find restaurants and shops. The place is very clean, cosy and nicely decorated. The accommodation staff was very helpful about providing information and and helping us to book a tour, rent a car. We had very good experience at Jianshe Inn.

It's a two story compound with 4 rooms upstairs with view and bathroom in rooms, and 3 rooms downstairs with share kitchen. Nice view, quite very new, very good location 2 minutes walk to restaurants and walking street, 3 minutes walk to parkin lot.

Location - Easy walk to Lijiang old town, many restaurants nearby Room - Big and clean. Good view of the old town from upstairs Manager XiaoXue was very helpful from the days I booked the room. She helped to book a van at a reasonable prize for our outing to Snow Mountain area and to ShangriLa. During our 4 nights stay, she helped us in changing flight and hotel bookings in other locations as we were not able to use google and yahoo email in China. She was efficient, helpful and friendly.

A 10 star rating is an understatement for the hospitality and warmth we received. The location is beautiful, a stunning terrace with an overview of the old town, lots of plants and pretty flowers. We got a room upgrade for free and the room was spacious, well equipped (best equipped room in fact we had in China). You can tell that a lot of love and attention to detail was put into the design of this accomodation. The location is very central yet quiet at night. The highlight of it all was the lovely, generous and genuine owner. She took time to recommend us great restaurants and vegetarian dishes. Checked in on us regularly to make sure we are having a great time. And when I was sick she even brought food and medicine. It felt like home and being taken care of by family. I have never experienced such a hospitality and am very grateful. I highly, highly recommend this place when you're visiting Yunnan. The owner has travelled all over the world and has lots of interesting stories and insights to share, definitely recommend you to have a chat with her over tea.
