How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

There are only two downsides, in my opinion. One is the price itself. Due to its location near the airport, a one-night reservation here costs quite a lot of money. The only other downside, which I have already commented in another review is the timetable for the bus going to and from the terminals, which I think it could be on a more regular schedule, e.g. every 30 or 45 minutes, instead of on their own schedule.
I've stayed here multiple times due to having to take a flight early on the following day on multiple occasions. It's a good hotel, the beds are comfortable and the room is quite spacious and you can barely hear any plane taking off or landing.

the prices for food was veryhigh the prices for alcohol was high as well
very close to the airport the staff were very helpfull and nice . most of them cold speak english. the bar luonge - cleen and quiet good food

A bit expensive compared to the other hotels close to the airport
Booked the hotel for my daughter, as she missed her connecting flight. Very close to the airport, shuttle bus available. Clean and good comfort for the reason of stay

The wifi connection on site is really bad... I had to use my mobile phone on an esim as a hotspot to be able to use my laptop correctly.
The hotel is very comfy, bar/restaurant are nice and open until late which is super convenient, the shuttle service is impeccable and very easy to use, staff speaks excellent english.

Rooms were on the old side, and a little smoky.
Airport shuttle was a breeze, we had a ton of luggage, and the driver was very helpful. check in staff were also very fast with everything. Room was clean and water was provided. Chinese food downstairs in the restaurant was simple and tasty.

Badly arranged airport shuttle Not a value for money
Close to the airport and clean room. Airport shuttle badly arranged no help with storing the suitcases, so that was a big mess. Room is nice only expensive for what you get. Breakfast has good quality and choice. Aldo close to airport hardly no sound of the planes.

My fault for not asking for better precisions on the location of the shuttle pick up at Pudong. Internet hardly works but then again it does not work well at the airport either. Probably a China issue more than a hotel issue. I would suggest for any travel there that anything you might need is printed or saved on your phone.
The location is great, the room is comfortable. Unfortunately the instructions to the shuttle were not clear...I should have asked for some precisions...as "first floor" probably means "ground floor" and I missed the 23h20 shuttle and had to take a cab, which was very expensive for a five minute ride because I did not want to wait one hour. Probably good to have this confirmed up ahead. English is OK at the desk, but not on the phone.

Concierge despite of written warning didnt fallow my incoming package and did not even warn. Next day at check out they forget too!!!!
Bar was still open at midnight. Good for late arriving business travellers.

Shower was a bit dated. No signs at airport to tell us where the shuttle bus stopped. Staff did not know either so we wasted a lot of time looking for the bus. More directions and signs needed.
