Upscale hotel with charming staff and good facilities. We had a horizon room with club access, definitely worth it. I do have one suggestion. That some benches in the luggage trolley area would be useful in order to put on ice spikes onto our boots for the ice festival. They could damage the flooring if I wore them indoors.

We went in winter. There was no AC, only heater. It was very hot. Though they provided a fan on my last night when I called.

The facilities are outdated, the room's hardware is old, the room is too small, there are long waits for breakfast seating, the breakfast is repetitive with no variation, and one has to stand in the bathtub to shower.

The location is relatively convenient, close to the river. The staff are warm and friendly. The bed is comfortable.

We used Horizon lounge and when we came to dinner one evening at 18.30 the food was gone and it lasted long before new supplies arrived and we could proceed with dinner. Number of people with good English language should improve.

Bathtub is so low down, took a while to fill up. Could hear other people during the night, especially upstairs at 1am!! Swimming pool was so small. Behind items in the rooms need cleaning (behind TV ect). TV didn’t work.

Check in staff speak English, bed is super comfy! Breakfast was nice, both Chinese & western food. You have to take a taxi to the snow and ice world, to far to walk. 20 min walk to the main part of the city.

Very good location, close to the City. The staff was very friendly and supportive. For example the Concierge Bruce organized to get a PCR Test for us without needed to go to public hospital. Also if we had any requests, the team and management from the hotel was always supportive and tried to help immediately. Thank you!

It was a bit dated and small.

The staff was helpful and it was easy to get a taxi or didi. The beds were comfortable and the food was excellent. The pool was nice.

1. The press button of the lift has electric shock. I have to use something else to press to avoid it. 2. The TV remote battery cover is spoiled. The room furniture is not maintained. 3. The safety box is not working properly. It works for the first time, but it doesn’t work after 2nd and 3rd try. Give up.

The food in the chinsese restaurant is really not worth the money 1. Rib is very hard to eat 2. The garlic paired with wagyu beef is raw and very spicy! I’ll expect cooked garlic to pair w wagyu beef The worst part is, when we gave above feedback to the staff. Instead of taking the feedback, she ignored our feedback and replied, “ could rate “very good” for our restaurant? “

This hotel is on the bank of the Songwa river, which is an excellent location to explore Harbin. Nice facilities and friendly staff make staying here a very pleasant experience.

Improve the quality and facilities.

The location is nearby the Songhua river, landscapes is well, and the room is clean, but the room is too small and the facilities are soooooo old, and the service and quality doesn’t match the price.

rude staff, poor restaurant not up to brand standards, customers smoking at doors. staff forgot to add a day to our stay so they locked us out of our suite (a handicapped amputee veteran) where our money and my medicine was stored. they then refused to let us inside until they arrived with a credit card machine.

Very hard to find English speaking staff, rooms were not avilable as booked and the overall feeling is a bit dated. Due to Covid things were probably also running a bit slow, but overall it didn’t really match the shangri La status.

The staff, especially concierge Bruce was very nice and helpful. Location is so so, the riverview is nice, but the whole area felt a bit abandoned and like a construction side. Good location for easy access to city Centre (45min walk) or Ice Festival (15min drive)
