Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesI could not and my colleagues could not get the AIR CONDITIONER to cool down the room. It seems that even though there is a thermostat in the room we were told that the temperature is controlled by the hotel property staff. I tried everything and we needed to request for our windows to be opened. One colleague was given a fan to put in his room. Not very good.
I was on the 23rd floor on the better tower. The tower with the large grey statue on the first floor.

New ZealandThe rooms were large but a bit tired and in need of a refurbishment. The room with the queen bed was nicer than the twin and had a better view but both were old and for the price we did expect better. It is not as good as the pictures but it was comfortable and clean.
The hotel is in a good location and we have been there several times before when we lived in Shanghai. We booked the hotel as we were arriving Christmas Day and we wanted to have the Christmas Day Brunch and then spend the night. Unfortunately our plan was delayed and we missed the brunch! However, we enjoyed an afternoon stroll on the Bund and up Nanjing Rd.

KazakhstanWe booked two rooms for our family and on arrival were first put to rooms on 10th floor of one tower. The problem was that all rooms around our allocated rooms were under repair, with doors open, pieces of furniture and construction materials on the floor, crumpled protective material instead of carpets on the floor. We did not want to live among the rooms under repair and went back to the reception which changed us to two rooms in another tower. The ‘new’ rooms were much older, in one of the rooms moth were flying when we checked in. The swimming pool was closed during our stay.

IndonesiaMany staff don't speak English well, such as staff in gym reception had to use translator to speak a basic English with me. The pillows are very soft.
The breakfast had many varieties and tasty. The room was clean and spacious. The location is good although have to walk lil bit far from the metro station. Staff in the concierge are very helpful and their English are better than many other staff.

Spacious room (got a corner one) but my friends got so small King room with small window that they needed to upgrade with additional payment. Thats not a fair treat since the room was uncomfortable.

ChinaThe hotel's service is excellent. When I booked the room, I hadn't assumed that 'city view' would actually mean 'view of a building'. Fortunately, the manager resolved this problem swiftly and upgraded us to a room with a stunning view of The Bund. I wouldn't recommend a room on the top floor (the 26th) due to the noise, which most likely originates from the air conditioning system. Additionally, the rooms appear a bit dated. Certain elements in the bathroom need repair.
