Everything! And especially amazing hosts which made sure I was safe, seen the best parts of the city and tried the best noodles in my life! Highly recommended this beautiful boutique hotel. Especially you will appreciate it at night when want to have a restful night sleep as if you stay at the hotel facing the river it’s super loud until late night. Everything was perfect, room, bed super comfy, view and again the host!!! I’m very grateful and lucky I have chosen this hotel!

I stayed in May. The weather was very good. The accommodation was in a very convenient location. Take a taxi and get off at the west gate and up a short flight of stairs. The owner of the accommodation is waiting to receive you. and provide a good welcome There is welcome fruit. You can reserve the boat at the owner. My son had a stomach ache. The owner took him to buy medicine and talked to the pharmacist. The bedroom was very good, the mattress was soft and comfortable, clean, the bathroom was clean.

The hotel is a beautiful building on top of a little hill, from the balcony you can appreciate the beautiful city view. The rooms are very well decorated and quite romantic, perfect for everyone. The owners were very helpful and kind, and the hotel is located in the center of the old town area, 2 mins from the main bridge. However it's at the end of a street where it's very quite at night so we had no troubles at all sleeping.

The hotel is just outside the old walls, the room is spacious, clean and the view stunning. The staff doesn’t speak English but he has been very kind and helpful using the translator. He helped me to find good restaurant and place to visit.

Great location with amazing view from the balcony. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. We had some issues with our transportation and the owner fixed everything for us. One of the best experiences with hotel staff that I have ever had.

One of the best stays we had while traveling in China. The hosts were some of the friendliest people we've met in the trip. They were extremely helpful in helping us with our luggages, calling taxis for us, helping us book boat tours and introducing walking areas around the city. They also provided amazing recommendations for restaurants nearby, even walking us to the restaurant itself. They were always concerned about us and taking care of us, we were very grateful and touched! The room itself had amazing view of the ancient city and it's river. It was spacious and the amenities were very high quality.

A very nice hotel run by lovely people. Nice room with great view. Location wise it is on the quieter side of the old town, so less noise. Very friendly owners who helped with transport and recommended good restaurant.

Clean comfortable room, great views of the city. The host was extremely helpful, accommodating& gave us a good recommendation for a restaurant. Very close to the main sights, but far away not to be disturbed by loud music that some of the bars by the river were blasting. There's a few stairs to climb to get there, but the host helped us with the bags so it was no trouble. Would definitely recommend & would stay again if I'm in the area.

The view from the Inn was perfect! Loved the location and accessibility to the river and shops. The owner is very helpful and will assist you with everything to make your stay amazing (i.e. fetching us from the junction, carrying our luggage up to our rooms, recommending food places and bringing us to photo-taking shops for a discounted rate). Would definitely revisit again for the experience!

Nothing - everything was perfect

The property is close to everything and is tug away in an alley away from the crowd The owner is very friendly and makes us feel like home. He recommended the local restaurant and activities and guide us to wherever we need it. I would highly recommend to all my friend especially foreigner that cannot understand Chinese to stay here as the owner will help you out with everything. All the communication is via WeChat and it can be translated into your own language

It is super clean and modern. I had the best room in level 4. They have an elevator. The staff is very helpful. He keeps in contact until I arrived and help me in my luggage, upgrade my booking, explain everything around the Fenghuang in a map, recommend and book for me the night boat. While I am walking around they answer my questions by WeChat and make sure that we are good. Also, they show me the best way to move to Guilin and help me in that. The LOCATION is perfect.

There is almost none of what we dislike.

The first and the most important is the great hospitality of Mr. Xiang Mengjie, the owner, he helped us organing the taxi, pic up back and forth from the train station, showed us the breakfast place even bought us a simple breakfast meals. Plus the location of the hotel is just right there in the middle of busiest area of Fenghuang Ancient City. Great place indeed. This hotel helps us to enjoy the city very much!!!

Not much space for luggage, would be very inconvenient if there are two persons. Too much stairs, that’s hard to avoid in Fenghuang.

Conveniently located near Nanhua Gate and the bridge to get a good view of Fenghuang. Very good shower and comfortable bed. The people who helped to arrange for transport for the next destination which was not very straightforward.

Very nice view with cool wind, a little bit far from crowds. You have to walk many steps to reach the hotel and the rooms, but it worth it!
