Really good place to stay if visiting the west side of the park. Very close proximity to the entrance - about 5 minute walk. Excellent breakfast options - chinese and western as well as a large selection of options for dinner. The hotel is relatively new and has great rooms with excellent views. Rooms are very modern, clean, great facilities and amenities. I've stayed here on two separate trips to Zhangjiajie and will stay here again if I return a third time. There's no better option for hotels on this side of the park.

Beautiful interior decor in the rooms and common areas. Very welcoming reception from the owner Lucas and his dad with helpful travel info for the locale. It is just few minutes walk to the park entrance (west side of Wulingyuan). I have a great view of the mountain range from my room.

Everything, Lucas goes out of his way to help with everything. Arranging testing, helping with tickets and all things related to the park. The hotel is in a quiet area very close to the park entrance. Food is fresh and delicious. rooms are cozy and comfy.

This was the best holiday we’ve had in China so far. Lucas and the team couldn’t have done more to make our stay exceptional. A change in COVID policy meant we had to get two PCR tests in three days before being able to visit the national park. We thought about cancelling, but instead extended our stay. I’m so glad we did - chilling out at the hotel was so relaxing and there’s a beautiful hike just by the property and outside the park. Lucas speaks excellent English and couldn’t have been more helpful in planning our stay. The food was delicious every night. Testing is really easy, with a testing site just 500m away and done with a QR code. My only regret is not staying longer.

We had an amazing time at this hotel. The property has a fantastic location near the park and the host Lucas is so kind and helpful. Lucas helped us to get tickets for the park and cable cars and he helped us arrange a driver to the train station when we left. He also helped us to plan our routes in the park which was incredibly useful and he was always available on wechat if we weren’t able to find which bus queue to stand in. Lucas also gave us lifts to the park gate (it’s only a 5 minutes away if you want to walk). We chose to stay here after reading the other reviews on booking and I’m so glad we did. The food is delicious, I can be quite a fussy eater and I happily ate the local food dishes (there are a few Western items as well but I didn’t try them). All of the staff are helpful and there’s an adorable cat too. The price is so reasonable and we would stay here every time we came to Zhangjiajie. Thank you Lucas and your team for making our stay so comfortable!

It's not a negative thing but a mini fridge in the room would have been a welcome addition during the summer heat to keep our drinks cool.

The best customer service we have ever experienced at a hotel. Lucas was in touch a couple of weeks in advance of our trip and then when we landed, he was messaging telling us what to do to get through the airport with Covid testing and paperwork and he was there waiting for us. During our stay, he took us to the entrance of the National Park, helped us buy tickets and was always so friendly when we were around the hotel, he couldn't have done more for us. We experienced some Covid restriction issues during our stay and he went out of his way to help us rectify this. The rest of the team at the hotel were also really friendly, smiley and welcoming. Good food options, freshly cooked and really tasty. The location is perfect for the Avatar Mountains too.

Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely view from the balcony, and we liked being so near the west gate of the park. We ate in the hotel every day and always enjoyed our meals. Lucas was super helpful throughout our stay. He helped us plan our time in the park and offered great suggestions that took us to some less visited paths. We would definitely stay again!

It was clean and had an awesome view of the mountain. The food was fantastic. My husband and I were there for 4 nights and every single dish we ordered was great. Wonderful stay, wonderful location, wonderful people, value for money, my SO and I just love everything here! We arrived at Zhangjiajie airport on 20 June 2021 night and booked the pick up service with Cozy few days before our trip. Totally 0 problem in communication as the brothers a.k.a hotel owners, Lucas and Cozy speak very good English! Clear directions were given to us before the trip, car was comfortable, hotel located approximately 1 hour from the airport and Tianmen mountain, less than 10 min walk to Zhangjiajie National Park. Lucas and Cozy offered us free ride to the park, less than 3 minutes and even helped us in planning our itinerary and booking the attraction tickets! So so so convenient! Note: There’s a minimart not far from the national park/ hotel. Good enough for us to get snacks! We stayed in the corner room with balcony for 4 nights. Room was spacious, modern and clean, and the bed was very comfortable! There were just a few simple breakfast selection, had Chinese and western choices but definitely more than enough to kick start our adventure! :) they made dinner too upon request! Mainly Chinese dishes but there’s 1 whole page of menu for western food), food was definitely superb! Note: Even my fussy Irish SO enjoyed the local Chinese food very much 😆 We rarely write reviews, but the experience here in Whispering Mountain is too exceptional so we told ourselves we MUST write something for them. Thanks for everything WM team, we would definitely come again! ☺️

Great location, off the beaten track and away from the tourist groups but close to the park's West Gate. Great staff, very friendly and the hiking advice was brilliant - helped us steer clear of the tourists and experience the park all to ourselves. Great food, top quality local Chinese dishes.

Location was great....very short walk to national park entrance. Staff gave tips every day about where to go in park and also arranged transport when needed. Staff super helpful and took us to hospital and translated for us when one of our kids was scratched by monkey in park. Highly recommend for cleanliness, food, location and staff support.

The location is better for some parts of the park than for others. The park is huge, and sometimes you may have to backtrack and shuttle a lot. There is a pool, but it’s an overground pool I did not use.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Communicated prior to arrival to arrange pickup. Every day they had a map and suggestions about where to go and what to do. Even arranged for my luggage to be delivered to the bus station on the day of my departure so I could have one last day in the park. Car service to park entrance was super quick and helpful, and they were even available via wechat during the day to help me answer any questions. Restaurant on site cooks tasty food.

It was a pleasure stayed in this hotel. The staff is amazing, all the people are kind and helpful, able to make you feel at home! Location cant be better. My room Window view was stunning. There is nothing could be better. Stuff speaks fluent English, yummy breakfast and dinner, also pretty cheap. The stuff helped a lot with organizing My leisure and thanks so much for that. The room was super clean. Cleaning service on top. Its really a Great deal for this money. 🌻
