Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

UzbekistanThis hotel is already one of the best hotels , I have ever been in China. The main purpose was Canton Fair , and the metro is just 10metres away , and just two stations to Canton Fair Complex. The view is amazing , the Whole Guangzhou can be seen above . Starbucks and Mcdonalds is on the first floor. The staff of the hotel is very friendly , they helped us to order the dinner . The rooms are very clean , the bathroom items always filled and changed everyday , even if we do not ask ,in other countries Turkey , Qatar almost we have complains , but here we do not have any , everything can be done just with one call . We will be back exactly .

GreeceThe big disadvantage is the neighbourhood. Although there is a Makdonald and Starbucks, they all close about 8-9 o clock. There is nothing you can do if you return a little later
The rooms are very nice and comfortable. Clean with great view. The breakfast was also fine in compare to other hotels

United StatesThe biggest draw back was its advertised as having a kitchen witch it does but there are only coffee cups nothing else making the kitchen entirely useless. I also did not like the food delivery robots, they would push there way into the elevator and stop blocking the door. If the elevator was full or I had a baby stroller they would always be in the way. There also was a few maintenance things on the room like grout cracking or very small repairs that need taken care of but nothing thay really matters, especially compared to other hotels iv been to in China.
The location is pretty quiet a nice brake from the craziness that is China. The staff were all very helpful and nice. Outstanding views. A very nice play area, my toddler really enjoyed it. Very convenient having a Starbucks, McDonald's, 711 and bun place in the building.

ThailandNothing at all. Everything was perfect. Actually, it's far beyond my expectations.
Everything was great. Less than minute to subway. I went to Poly World Trade Center which is only 2 stations from the hotel. Staffs were great. They are full of service mind, as well as they can speak English fluently. I can see Canton tower from my room on 38th floor too. Neighborhood was quite and clean.

Saudi ArabiaTheir shuttle bus driver to canton fair was very bad and racist, refused to let us out of the bus in front of the fair but allowed Chinese passenger to do so. It took us over 1 hour for a 10 minutes ride that started 8:30AM shuttle and we arrived late around 9:45AM the first day what makes everything rush. We never took the shuttle bus again and used metro instead despite being crowded.
Calm area out of Guangzhou. Metro line in front of the door.

United Kingdomkitchen area had no cutlery which I thought was a bit odd when it had a hob, microwave etc. Metro station is the best option for getting into central Guangzhou as traffic around this area can get very bad at peak times. other than that, cant fault it. will definitely stay there again next time i go to the canton fair.
Great Location for the Canton Fair. Free shuttle bus gets you there in 15 minutes or you can use the Metro station right next to it to get there in a similar time. Starbucks and Mcdonalds below the hotel are great options for breakfast if you dont want Chinese style breakfast. Rooms are comfy and well equipped. Mine had its own kitchen area. China bank also located directly below so conveniant for chaning money. Not that anyone in China wants cash these days. its Wechat or Alipay everywhere now, inclouding mcdonalds!
