Location is not that great, very close to the airport whcih generally means also very far from every else. That said, Metro is close by, maybe 4 minute walk from the hotel. No shuttle to Canton fair.

Love that they have a washing machine in the rooms, game changer given you normally pay around RMB70/$7.00 to get a T-Shirt washed in 5* hotels in China. I had a suite with a lounge which was very clean and spacious. Also, this gives you value for every RMB you spend.

Very helpful staff, I arrived very early morning from my flight and was able to check in early to my room so I could catch some sleep before my next flight. Breakfast was good with interesting Asian food as well as Western food. I also ended up having dinner in the hotel restaurant which was also nice. Pleasant stay.

The stuff spoke minimum English and they made us paid 40RMB for a broken glass which we didn’t even use, it was covered by a towel and tilted while lifting the towel which caused the cracks. But they didn’t care that it wasn’t pur fault.

Only problem was that the wifi wasn't working. Fortunately I had plenty of data on my China SIM so wasn't worth spending the time to deal with, but this is something they could work on. Oh, and porter service would have been helpful - I don't usually need this but I had a lot of bags this time and the layout of the room (rooms on only one very long floor, meaning a long walk from the lifts in many cases) means porters would be particularly useful here.

Pretty much everything - great location, great room - spacious, good decor (but surprisingly, no desk - no so important though). I would be happy to stay again.

The cleaners walked in my room twice with the do not disturb sign on and even when cleaning they do not clean well except fixing the bed. All they do is fix the bed and leave

- not many western options for breakfast - common spaces were clean but the room itself not so clean - most of the stuff didn’t speak english. Only 1 person at the reception spoke it. - we emailed the property twice before our arrival to arrange shuffle bus from the airport but they never replied back

Free Shuttle from Airport to the Hotel after international flight. Fantastic shower. Large room, with all facilities. Very comfortable bed. Great food. Coffee could do with some upgrades but hey it's china. Friendly staff and let you know what you need to and answer all questions very well. Overall a great hotel for a stopover/relax and have a fab shower and comfy bed to sleep in.

Unfortunately our pre arranged shuttle pick up took well over an hour and we had to make several telephone calls which meant by the time we eventually got to the hotel the restaurant and room service had closed (was suppose to close at 11 but they closed at 10 as they were not busy apparently) which was very disappointing.

Hotel was lovely. Immaculately clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was very nice.

The staff especially the night staff need to be reasonably good in English speaking and understanding. The breakfast need to have more suitable for vegetarians options and understanding of vegetarians options for religious reasons as they have very limited options but don’t understand the suitable for vegetarians options meaning, Normally same serving spoons and main dishes are used for meat and vegetables dishes
