We had a wonderful stay at the Yangshuo Ancient Garden Boutique hotel, I will definitively recommend this hotel if you want to discover this beautiful area. The hotel is very nice, well located in a quiet area but not far from the city. It is nicely decorated and the rooms are beautiful. Sophia took very good care of us, she organised all the visits and activities for our family, everything was smooth and perfect for the family. Thank you again to Sophia and the team for the great holiday!

This is an excellent accommodation with a wonderful staff! We loved the gardens and waterfall. It was also the best night of sleep we’ve had in two weeks. The bikes were a bonus and hotel has proximity to a great spot to go on bamboo river rafts. Being tucked up the hillside really made it more tranquil than if we had stayed close to the big river or near the main street. Breakfast was delightful and they even accommodated my gluten free needs/requests. Plus yoga on the veranda and dressing up in a traditional Chinese outfit(which they provide) was the icing on the cake. It’s very close to the romance park, and if we researched more in advance we would’ve opted for that over the impression show. Would’ve loved to have spent another night just to be at the hotel.

The ambience was magical, the rooms were immaculate and the staff superb. It was raining for the 2 days we stayed. It was always very cold too (near zero Celsius) but the rooms were warm and welcoming. The rooms are arranged 4 to a villa and we found 4 umbrellas at the entrance to the villa (that’s service). Breakfast was mostly local food with noodles, delicious and they provided tea at the reception (in room too). I would highly recommend this hotel. Parking was about 500m away but it was an easy walk up.

We are group of 9 friends stayed for 3 nights, EVERYTHING was perfect!!! we were so happy being at the hotel and had arranged private bbq at the terrace, we had great time with best view in Yangshuo!!, and 5 stars service !! 👍👍👍👍👍 Sophia and the hotel members are so much helpful during our stay, Thank you so much!

it's a very beautiful place, in and out. staff is excellent , bike are included. pool is nice. it's away from the road. there's a gym. it's beautiful and delicious (breakfast with a view)

Excellent location. Wonderful setting. Cycling along the YuLong river. River cruise on Li River. Liu Sanjie light spectacle. Great breakfast and dinner menu with Chinese and Western dinner options. Hotel staff were most friendly and helpful. Fluent English.

During the annoying times of covid in China, the hotel check in etc was very efficient and hassle free which was great, I was in contact with the hotel before arrival and they made sure that I had all information regarding covid the provinces policies which was useful. On arrival sophia (sofia) unsure on the spelling! was on hand to give us a warm greeting and a big smile which was great. We stayed in the B villa which was lovely, wonderful decor and balcony overlooking the karsts which was great. Lovely big spacious bathroom and bedroom with good AC, (Guangxi summer is a little hot to say the least) wonderful big pool which was great after a long day in the sun! breakfast and food were good! a mixture of both western and chinese dishes. Location is good, I would say about 9-11 minutes to reach yangshuo centre and west street on an electric scooter and around 6-7 minutes if u want to go on a bamboo raft trip also.

This is such a gorgeous hotel with a beautiful garden. We loved the beautiful ancient rooms with lovely furniture and amenities. All the staff were incredible and made our stay so special, especially Yanwa, Sophia and Jenny. We ate most of our meals in the hotel restaurant and the chef made good vegetarian food and was very accommodating.

This is a beautiful hotel in a tastefully renovated old courtyard. You can tell that the owners have put great attention even to the smallest of details, and the highly professional staff does everything to make us feel welcome. Apart from the big yet cosy rooms, we enjoy sitting by the lit wood burning stove in the dining hall when staying here in winter.

The price is a little high, but I suppose if it was lower then the place would always be fully booked and I couldn't get a room.

The grounds are beautiful and the staff are extremely helpful and nice. A wonderful place to stay.

i would rate the hotel 4 stars instead of 5 because rooms had very small windows (because of the typical Chinese styl) so very dark inside, breakfast was good but basic. Dinner was good but basic.

very cozy hotel with 20 rooms, very good service, rooms were traditionally decorated and spacious, nice swimmingpool and very beautiful and well maintained garden. cosy restaurant, breakfast mostly Chinese orientated because main part of the guest were Chinese but we could order a Western breakfast in advance.
