Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

CanadaHad an absolutely delightful experience at Xiao Long River Hotel. The location couldn't be better, just a stone's throw away from the Yu Long River. Opting to stay here, rather than in the town center, was a fantastic choice. It afforded us the ideal chance to immerse ourselves in the breathtaking nature of Yang Shuo and gain insights into the tranquil and laid-back lifestyle of the locals. The rooftop view is nothing short of spectacular, and the rooms are impeccably clean and cozy. Moreover, the staff members are incredibly friendly and helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend this gem to anyone looking to stay in Yang Shuo.

OMG the location was perfection. Why go to Yangshuo and stay in the city centre? You need to be here on the edge of the river and rice fields in the satellite village close to Yangshuo! It’s an absolute fairytale place! You won’t want to leave! Super value too!! Clean confortable.

Everything! 1. The check in was smooth. I was lost, the owner speaks English. She got the assistant to come find me in the main road and took me back to the place. 2. The place is modern and clean. Has the most stunning view. Very close to the fields. 3. Big room for super cheap. Best value for money I've gotten for a room in China. 4. You can rent a scooter around the corner.
