Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

SingaporeNice and cosy hostel tucked at a quiet corner from the bustling streets in the ancient city. Not difficult to navigate your way from the bus drop off point to the hostel. Alternatively, can arrange for hostel operator to meet up and show the way if preferred. Hostel operator is friendly, provides map and information of ancient city.

We like the decor of the lobby. It is japanese style, modern and new. The host is very friendly, he picked us up and take us personally to nice local bfast.

SingaporeOwner was very helpful and friendly. Made the effort to meet us up at the gate to help with luggage and also carry up to rooms since there were no lifts. Gave us a map and advised on how to navigate the area and places of interests. We had an early train next day, and he again volunteered to bring us out of the city gate and helped arrange 3 taxis for our group of 8 pax. He texted me again to let me know that everyone got on the taxi safely to ensure no missing member. Really appreciate him going the extra mile to ensure we had an enjoyable stay and a smooth journey. Highly recommended.

ChinaThey don’t have the water view. Price was too expensive for a room with no water view. The view outside the window was a wasteland. Room was very small and there wasn’t a place to put your suitcase. Shower had weak water pressure and it wasn’t easy to adjust; the water temperature would go dramatically from cold to very hot and not much in between unless you fiddle with it for a long time. Geographical location was too hidden in a tiny alley; not easy to find and you have to walk through lots of bumpy roads and staircase and that would damage your suitcase wheels unless you carry it. But to be fair I have to say you have to walk to other inns anyway on the same road in that town. No elevator (probably most inns in fenghuang don’t have elevators); but the staff would help you carry up your suitcase.
It’s clean and they offer free luggage storage and map and some guidance.
