Affordable hotel with a very good location. The staff and especially Wang Hui Hui were incredibly helpful. The service exceeded our expectations and we are very satisfied with the stay!

We had a lovely stay for one night. The room was very clean and it had everything we needed it. Away from the noise of the town but close enough to all sights. Wang is a great host! She was in contact prior to our arrival and meet us in town to help us get to the hotel. She gave us directions and suggestions for places to visit and eat in town. Wang walked with us to the bus station on our departure day and showed us which bus to take. There is no breakfast but it is not problem as you can get some food near by or buy from the supermarket.

The host was so nice and helpful. Speak well english. Perfect location in the old city : youcan do everything by foot but you avoid the noise during the evening. And what a view from your window !

There was nothing I didn't like. The steps up to the homestay are the price for being removed from the crowds and the noise on riverside.

Wang's kind hospitality. She went out of her way to be helpful in every way possible. The homestay is situated at a point on a hill that overlooks the town of Fenghuang, so, aside from the amazing views, the air is clean and fresh.

The homestay is located in Fenhuanggucheng, near the Nanhuali sightseeing bus terminal. The host of the homestay will meet you at the bus terminal to bring you to the homestay (10 mins walk). She will brief you on the route and places to see, timing with a big map.

The location is nice but the property is on top of a slope. For us it was ok but for parties with old folks or very young children, access might be a little challenging.

This is a nice accommodation that suited our needs perfectly. A quant little boutique homestay with nice tatami beds and great views of the ancient city both during the day and a magnificent views at night. The operator was very helpful and gave us very good tips on touring the city.

Nothing, you should just know about 'squat' toilets (which can be surprising if you are not used to it) and that you will need to go up some stairs (which is totally worth it to get the view)

Whan, you’re amazing, she thought about everything. She picked me up at the busstation, took the time to show me the map of Fenghuang and was so welcoming. Had a very good sleep under the electric heated bedsheets and with a beautiful view over the city

Shower pressure wasn't great and squatting toilet was a bit uncomfortable.

Very good location and great view to the river. Close to shops and main attractions. Thoroughly communicating and helpful staff. There were a lot of stairs to be climbed but I did it happily as needed exercises. Tips: 1) Good hotpots are served at Notfat.Zhang restaurant (5 minutes walk); 2) Music bars are better on the other side of the river.

A welcoming host that guide us around the town, she even helped us to carry other luggage all the way up to our room. The room offered a stunning view, allowing us to see the entire town through its window.

I like the quiet old architectural style courtyard very much. The owner received me very warmly and would show us the map and guide of the scenic spot.

So many stairs and easy to get lost. We had big bags and staying here was a mistake in that regard. The squat toilet is also a shower. Not ideal for us westerners we didn’t end up showering here.
