We had 2 bedrooms apt- it’s spacious. There is good size living room. The rooms r spacious. There is wash dryer as well. Totally recommend this place.

Rooms are very large, nice view to the river. Need to take Taxi as the city is very large and a little difficult to navigate you can easily get lost however you should be able to get a taxi easily within 1 or 2 minutes . Best if you download the ap DIDI Some staff spoke good English. Breakfast was good had a lot of choices, staff are all very friendly and helpful

My room came with breakfast and first off, the air con doesn’t keep the restaurant cool enough. Food is so so tho the local dishes are quite good. Also drinks are not replenished towards the last half hour of breakfast.

Huge room, well equipped. Quiet, very pleasant to be in a big city yet having such a serene surrounding. Well maintained, clean. Also buses running outside the property are convenient.

walking distance to Shibati - an ancient and steep stairway in the old city of Chongqing. Very interesting town, You must. It can take you half a day in this town as there are many stairways. Walking distance to the little village called White elephant, about 20 minutes. Opposite the hotel is the Yangtze River. Beautiful views. Service is good. Food - ok. No complain. They can book car to airport for you.

Shower occassionally not having the right pressure or chagning its temperature. Other than that very good.

Fantastic location and a super comfortable room. Huge space, very comfortable bed. The front desk was very helpful at all times. Breakfast good too!

Everything perfect and business Luxury room class. Receptionist so nice and very helpful. I love the smell of the room like very clean and nice smell. Absolutely, i will be back and recommend here for everyone.

For a traveller without a car, or the local language, the location was a little tricky to manage. And after being amazed by the quality of our room, the breakfast (while still very good) and pool were a little basic.

The room was phenomenal, truly outstanding. Beautiful, and comfortable, with an amazing view. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The only thing can be improved was the breakfast, which had very limited choice.

It’s next to the river, has beautiful views. We had 3 beds apartments, which is huge and very clean. The bed was really comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

The service at the gym/pool area was a huge grey mark. Unattentive and did not come even after 40 mins of waiting.

I thought that the breakfast, gym and pool were great! The rooms were large and comfortable and housekeeping was quick and attentive. Location also pretty central overall & close to a range of different things.

very nice hotel, not far from Jiefang Bei, the famous pedestrian street of Chongqing and heart of this lovely and historic city… I got a really wonderful and spacious room and they kindly allowed me a very early check-in and I thank them very much… breakfast good…. staff very cooperative… if I come back to Chongqing, my hotel choice is already made: I’ll go again at Somerset Yangtze Chongqing !

The only thing I can recall is the power outlet in toilet cannot be used for hair dryer. We have to go bedroom, living room or kitchen to find a place to dry hair without mirror.

Spacious apartment, with a large living space and separate bedroom with very comfy king bed - perfect also for a couple, but even alone, you can fully relax here after a long day of exploring. Staff was always helpful, breakfast had (mostly) all varieties of food ready and was the location is perfect to reach the Jiefangbei Street within 20mins of walking. Would totally recommend!

The criticism takes place at a high level as our holiday enjoyment wasn't really spoiled by it. The two points that weren't perfect were the lime / dirt? deposits, especially in the corners of the shower / toilet, and the cramped, sometimes overcrowded breakfast room. Structural conditions are probably difficult to change, but housekeeping could be given more time for thorough cleaning, especially before peak seasons such as Chinese New Year.

Very nice and quiet hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are huge and comfortable, the bathrooms too. We felt very comfortable and would book Somerset again at any time and would also recommend it to friends and family.

Nothing really. The quality of the hotel is great for a family stay and not too far away from a lot of the local attractions. Only thing that could have been better was if a local subway station was a little closer.

Room was beyond expectation, very clean and the condition excellent. Range of food on offer was good, including some western options. Staff on reception very helpful especially when asking about how to get around easily and providing directions. Although looking out on the river if you want to get to the main attractions it is a bit of a walk. If you like walking and exploring an area though its not too far to some of the local attractions. Taxis are easy to get outside for anything a little further away. If we come to Chongqing again would definitely stay again and would recommend the hotel without any reservations.

Breakfast had modest selection. It became repetitive after a few days.

Apartment in excellent repair. Reasonable proximity to everything with good taxi access. Quiet remove from city noise. Good pool with minimal use. My second time. I would return.
