The staff crew were extremely friendly, attentive, and always gave a smile whenever they saw you. The room and services were way beyond my expectation. The simple breakfast included was also very hearted. What I loved the most was the vibe that’s peaceful and relaxing.

Very comfortable home stay. Located very near to south gate into Dali Ancient City about 5 minutes walk away. Our host Mr WangRan is a very nice young man who is very helpful in recommending interesting places to sight see and visit. He is also very helpful in making arrangements for transportation such as helping us book taxis to tour interesting places and in helping us in connecting with our other homestay in Lijiang Ancient City. He even helped us to book a taxi direct from Dali to Kunming airport to take our flight back home to Malaysia. Z-Garden in our view is very highly recommended.

Lack of lift, but owner makes it up by helping to carry the luggages.

Owner was very friendly and approachable. Responds to requests and goes out of his way to help whenever possible. Location was pretty good as well, as it is within walking distance to the old town. Due to above reason, this place is a good place to crash after a long day, as it is relatively quiet for you to recharge for the next day.

Staff communicated with us well in english and were polite & courteous. They arranged transport for us to and from Cangshan Mountain, and to the airport, which would have been difficult to arrange ourselves. They helped carry our luggage up & down the stairs as required. We had a comfortable & spacious apartment.

The accommodation is like a mini resort with nice landscaped garden and fish ponds. It is a short walk to the South Gate of Dali Old Town. Nearby are eateries that serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and street food. Our room on the ground floor was quiet, clean and had everything we needed including a heater during our stay in January 2024. The friendly and helpful owner prepared delicious Xiao Wang Noodles for breakfast (8 am - 10.30 am)
