Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United Kingdomthere is no area to entertain guests at the lobby. There is a coffee lounge on the 2nd floor but never anyone serving.
For us the location is perfect. On the floors we were on the rooms are looking tired and need to be updated as some have already been updated on some floors. Breakfast is not great for a 5* hotel but is adequate.

Location is in the center. Near is a big shopping center. Rooms are little old, but they have always been really clean. Only minus is, that beds are hard. Breakfast is good with some western preferences also. Coffee is very good. Many reataurants in hotel. Hotel is safe and clean.

Location is excellent for visiting our suppliers. On the floor we were given our rooms needed to be updated, comfortable bed, linen and pillows, rear view of the hotel from our room is not that great. Breakfast variety on offer could be better.
