We only wanted to rest up before our flight, so arrived about 3 pm and left for airport at about 10pm after our flight with Avianca was delayed by 3 hours (This airline gets 0-10 and I would never fly with them again. The hosts Hernando and Nancy were 2 of the nicest people you could ever meet. Although we were only staying for a short time, Nancy showed us a lovely little eatery with home cooked food....excellent value and the best meal we had eaten since arriving in Colombia 3 weeks ago( 4 bottles of beer, 2 chicken soups and 2 very substantial main courses for only 72,000 pesos or £14). I didnt have much cash left so Hernando lent me some money and I then used my debit card back in the house. This is not the ritz by any means, but for a real taste of Bogota and the room for 2 people was under £15 including breakfast, which we did not have, this was fantastic value for money. I would thoroughly recommend this place....great value. Many thanks Hernando and Nancy....Great people

Very nice, clean and comfortable room, hosted by an incredibly kind couple. Due to a delayed flight we arrived at 4am and the hosts greeted us at the door to let us in. Also a late-checkout was no problem. Located close to the airport with nice breakfast-options just around the corner.

A 20 minute drive from the airport and very clean and comfortable room to catch some sleep before my flight the next morning. The neighborhood seemed a little questionable while approaching and my taxi driver was warning to be careful, but in my personal experience walking around at night to get dinner felt perfectly fine. Seeing families and children out on the streets made me feel a lot safer. I would definitely stay here again if I needed to be close to the airport.

Nancy and Hernando are just two loving Colombians every traveller is happy to meet. You usually just stay for a night to quickly reach the airport the next morning, so I emphasized value-for-money and safety ahead of hotel comfort. You get a towel and have access to a clean bathroom. Hernando took the time to even show me a place for me to have late dinner. Nancy waited with me for my Uber to arrive the next morning. It felt like I was a family member. Can only recommend the airport rooms :)

Not really a negative, but just so a traveler not used to staying in hostels in Latin America, the location is in a residential area so if you are in taxi to there, it might seem that they are not taking you to a real hotel. Don't get nervious, although this is not a "hotel" like you might imagine, it is so close to the airport and PERFECT for a good rest and great hospitality.

Hernando and Nancy were amazing to stay with. First of all, I ended up arriving in Bogotá for the very first time at 2 AM. Prior to arriving, I was in communication with them on arrangements for arrival to their place. They personally picked me up and took me to their hostel. They had to go back for my friend who arrived 3 hours later, but let me sleep sound and comfortable. The next day, Nancy shared coffee with me, we had a wonderful conversation like friends, then they called a taxi for us so we could explore the city during the day layover. When we returned, my friend had an issue with a website so they graciously let her log on from their personal device. When it was time to go to the ariport, they called us another taxi. I felt very well cared for in a foreign land.

I think it was advertised as fairly basic accommodation and so I wasn't expecting anything luxurious. There's nothing I would really criticise.

Breakfast wasn't included. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, picked me up from the airport and ordered a taxi for the following morning. They were a delight. It was perfect for a stay near the airport.

The hosts are the most incredible people! I had to leave at 5am and they were already up and about to call me a taxi and even negotiate the price! I only arrived late in the night and left early in the morning so cannot really comment on the neighbourhood and facilities but it was great value for money and close the airport.
