The fact that we had not booked another night!

What a delightful stay in a spotless home with such beautiful hosts! ✨ A true home away from home! We were greeted with opened arms (and a lovely cool drink!) by the kindest, most helpful and accommodating Lady and Gentleman. ❤️ The rooms were so clean and comfortable. The breakfast delicious and plentiful. The garden so stunning and a wonderful place to spot so many birds and other beautiful animals. The bus station is very near and can easily be reached by foot. This guesthouse is so so lovely in every single way. The kindness, generosity , warmth from the Hosts is spectacular! Our most memorable encounter to date in Colombia. It is conveniently located for transport by bus,yet offers you a little haven of peace and quiet in the town. Highly recommend it!

It's just like been in your granny's house. The warm of the host and all the little details were a fantastic plus to our stay. Beautiful garden and very clean rooms. Even that the bathroom its outside the room, it is private just for yourself. The breakfast worth the money, and for me this is the best cost/benefit place to stay. They offer you even free coffee and ice cream. Comfy beds, hot water in the shower and lots of beautiful birds to see while you take the breakfast. The location es perfect if you have your own transport to visit the coffee region

Everything was lovely.

Hosts José and Estrella were incredibly helpful and welcoming and they made sure we had everything we needed. Upon request, they arranged for us an airport transfer through a trusted friend of theirs and they made sure we knew our way to the bus terminal after the check-out. The bedroom was cozy and perfectly clean, the mattress was comfy too. On top, we loved breakfast. We would definitely recommend this property.

The owners José & Estrella are absolutely wonderful. The facilities are basic but very clean and for Meir was everything I needed. However, my highlight was the breakfast at their terrace where you can see beautiful exotic birds wile enjoying your arepa, scrambled eggs and fruits. Great value for the price!

The location isn't the best for Armenia, but it was perfect for transiting and very close to the bus terminal.

Nothing, everything perfect.

We booked here for an overnight stay to get from Salento to Bogota (as many people do here) and it was the perfect decision. When you arrive in Armenia bus terminal just take a Taxi which should costs 5K Pesos and brings you there in 5 minutes. If they haven’t changed it yet, the pin on google maps points to the wrong house on the other side of the street, but for the taxi drop-off that doesn‘t matter much. You are welcomed by a super friendly elderly couple, José and Estrella. Simple, cosy and quiet rooms with one shared bathroom on the same floor – everything very clean. They serve you a very decent colombian breakfast on the veranda in front of a beautiful garden, sometimes even a bird-watching spectacle included ;-) It was definitely one of the most lovely experiences with hosts in our 3-month Colombia journey. To get back to the bus terminal on the next morning, Estrella just called a taxi for us. It arrived 5 minutes after. Everything super easy and enjoyable.

The property is in a residential area which is safe but the general working class neighborhood it is felt far less safe. There is an error in the queen bed room listing indicating a private bathroom but it’s a shared bathroom instead.

Like others have mentioned, the hostess is simply an amazing and caring human being. She even washed and hung my clothes while we were out exploring. She was always offering cafe, water, and fruits to us. She has an amazing garden where we sat eating our breakfast and watched variety of birds and even capybaras! She also walked us to the bus stop to take the bus to the airport. The hot shower worked great the night we stayed but it stopped working the morning after, it should be a temporary issue.

The hosts are the star of this stay! They received us with such warmth, made sure we had everything we needed, called us a secure taxi and prepared breakfast early in the morning before we needed to leave. The house was quiet and comfortable, and breakfast in the garden was a treat - we were able to see so many birds and small animals! The area is not the best (as is any area around a bus terminal) but the street itself is residential. We felt at home and really recommend staying here!

The rooms have a bit too much furniture in them. Our room, for example, despite being a double room had two double beds and a big (empty) library. We had three suitcases and we managed alright. But for longer stays it can feel a bit claustrophobic.

We stayed at Casa Campesina when we were visiting Salento. The property is in close distance to the bus terminal which made it perfect to travel from Bogota and travel to Salento and back daily. It’s also close to the airport, and the hosts arranged airport stop-off so transportation is super easy! Unlike other hostels close to the bus terminal, this property is on a residential street and is super quiet and very safe neighborhood. The hosts are amazing, very helpful and friendly, we felt like we were staying at our grandparents’ house :) They accommodated early check-in and were already waiting for us at 6 am in the morning! Couldn’t have asked for more.

the location is very nesr to the bus terminal so super easy to reach it to go to Salento. The couple managing the hotel are lovely, the breakfast is great and they sre super chatty if you speak spanish. absolutely reccommend!

That I wasn’t staying longer

The hosts are such a delight, the breakfast was great with a wonderful view. a very relaxing place. They were incredibly accommodating, we arrived at 4am due to a cancelled and delayed bus yet still greeted us. I wish we staying longer, if I ever return to Armenia I will definitely stay again.
