Nice place on a quiet street a short walk from the main town area, or Brazil in the other direction. Little corner stores nearby and a fantastic restaurant across the street (Punto Lounge). Very friendly hostess, and the host helped drive us to the docks when we left. AC worked well and everything was nice and comfortable :)

The owner has gone out their way to decorate and make their apartments very cute and tasteful. I really liked the area set aside in the light well for drying clothes. not sure how secure it is but it was fine for me. I recommend this property. The owner even gave me a ride to the airport without my asking!

No Wifi. Not bad Wifi - no Wifi at all. Other places in town had Wifi at the same time; slow wifi, but at least some connection. This is too essential to not offer it. Mobile plans are no alternative since they data connection does not really work in Leticia. And one more warning (nothing to do with the hosts): the apartment is very close to Brazil, so your phone might automatically - but wrongly - change the timezone. Happened to me, so I was unknowingly one hour too early at my tour meeting point.

Not the fault of the hosts in the slightest, but the internet service wasn't sufficient for remote work. The story was the same all over town however as Leticia is in the middle of the Amazon... DON'T go to Leticia planning to work remotely.

What I loved most of all was that the hosts, along with their son were waiting for me at the airport. They were very warm and welcoming and made sure to give me a grand tour of the town on the way to the hotel. In addition, the apartment was nice, the air conditioning worked well, and the kitchen was well equipped.

Floor of room had detergent on it that had not been washed off all the way, making my feet smelled like detergent. No big deal though.

Owner provided transportation to both airports and also was very informative and kind.

I really don't know if this qualifies as a dislike, but you should be aware that bathroom is small and if you are a large person, it may not work for you. I am 6' tall, 200+ pounds and didn't have an issue, but if you are a round person, it could be an issue for you. Also, another note of caution. The owners do NOT speak English. My travel partner is bilingual, so this was not an issue for us, but thought this was worth pointing out.

This facility is clean, clean, clean and located just far enough from downtown to be quiet and yet close enough to walk downtown in 5 to 10 minutes. Also keep in mind, you can take a tuk tuk anywhere around Leticia for just 5 Colombian pesos (approx $1.25 USD). If you want to take a tuk tuk to Brazil it will be 15 Colombian pesos (approx $3.75 USD). Our room was complete with 2 bedrooms, private bath, kitchen and fully furnished. The main bedroom has air conditioning, while the other rooms had fans. The hosts are fantastic and could not be more helpful. Free rides to and from the airport and even gave us a ride to port for a multiple day excursion down the Amazon.

I have traveled over the world for over 40 years both professionally and personally - and stayed in some expensive luxury hotels and accomadations. But ApartaHotel T. A. is within the best. Everyone should experience the Amazon some trip. And everyone should stay at Tierras Amazonicas. Genny and Libardo and the staff treat like family. Unforgettable. What a delight. I hope to return very soon.

Very nice and helpful host, I felt very welcome and at home. The apartment has a couch, a kitchen and a big fan in the living room and aircon in the bedroom. Lots of space to relax from the heat. 😉

The bed in the room was pretty hard. I could feel the springs in my ribs as I slept. And so I think the mattress should be changed.

The location is really close to the boarder and a bit of walking distance from the ATM machines. There are many tour companies that organize trips and people are really friendly.

Could've used more drinking water, I didn't have a top sheet or blanket to sleep under so I had to sleep under a spare bed's fitted sheet, and important documents in my bag got wet after the husband put my bag in the bed of his truck.

It was quiet at night and the apartment was unique and the husband bought us coffee when he drove us to the airport in the morning.
