It can be loud because of the buses and the school just next door. With earplugs no problem. Mattress not the best. Kitchens are clean, but could be much better equipped.

They only have small lockers for valuables, no big ones. For me it was a bit cold in the room and with the blankets it had. The beds are really shaky. As soon as someone moves (either on top or bottom bed), the whole bed would move with it.

Nice little hostel, just a few streets from the main square. Tha staff was really nice and helpful with activities. I believe they also rent out bikes, if you want to. I really liked the common areas and the patio. Breakfast was really simple, with eggs, toasted bred and jam. But the scrambled eggs were super nicely made.

There is little to no sound isolation. The bathrooms should definitely be cleaned more often, especially when there are more people staying in the hostel.

The staff and the common areas are nice. The location is great, super close to everything you might need in Filandia. The house is very beautiful.

Warm (not hot) showers, sometimes could suddenly get cold. Rooms are not soundproof, you can hear noise from inside & outside (the street).

Clean, pretty room. Towels provided. Nice outdoor and indoor spaces to hang out, friendly & helpful staff. Breakfast and coffee provided which was a nice surprise.

bring your earplugs with you, because it was kinda noisy during the night. We could hear everything through the wooden ceilings from the common room with the kitchen and all the traffic in the hall. and when this calmed down after 23, there was a noise from the wind moving around some loose plastic covers on the roof.

What an amazing stay, I couldn’t expect any better! The hostel is well located (2 blocks from main square), not loud part of the town but close enough to the center. The facilities are good, the hostel is pretty and well designed. The breakfast is ok, but I didn’t even expect any breakfast so it was pretty convenient to have it available. The social area is amazing, although I was with my girlfriend, it is always something that I look on hostels because I used to be a solo traveler. Then, if you are a solo traveler looking for a good hostel to meet people, it is the place for you!! About the staff, well, it is the best part. I got sick during my stay and needed to go to the hospital and they really supported me in everything I needed, I am really thankful for that. It is, for sure, my place in Finlandia when I ever come back. Also my recommendation to anyone I talk to about it.

As they mentioned in the mails, if people make so much noise in the lobby you can hear them in the rooms. During my stay, there were some people talking in the lobby so it was being difficult to get sleep. I think they realized about this problem because they stopped talking after a while.

This hotel has a room with some boardgames where you can share with other people in the hotel or with your family. We were with two kids, and even when this hotel is oriented to backpackers there wasn't any problem with them. In the lobby they have a big board with the different activities you can try in Filandia, so if you don't have any idea what to do, I'm sure they will help you to find a good activity.

The bunk beds move a lot. Almost no cups or glasses in the kitchen.

Beautiful place with a cool staff, complimentary small breakfast and bikes to rent. I spent 5 days working at the kitchen and other areas. Would go back.

The sounds isolation from the street is bad, as there is no glass on the windows, only shutters. The street is calm but as soon as a car passes, you hear it loud. The breakfast is not great. One night, we had an issue as some of our friends wanted to come back after 12 but the reception was about to close, so we had to tell them to come back right away. So it seems there is no all night reception, and no way to come back after 12 on week days.

Nice hostel, well located. The deluxe double room is really beautiful and super comfortable. The staff was helpful, gave us good advice for activities and arranged a tour to a coffee farm that was super interesting.

There was one night where my friend and I got back at midnight and found that we were locked out, and nobody heard our knocks or answered the phone. We ended up staying somewhere else that night. But the hostel refunded that night, and I think the issue has been resolved so that won’t happen in the future.

I ended up staying a full week here. The location is nice, a short walk to the plaza, but far enough away that it’s not noisy. The dorm rooms are spacious. The hostel is very clean. The common areas are comfortable. The shared kitchen is well supplied. The staff is helpful and kind. The included breakfast was simple but much appreciated.
