Everything was wonderful. As to be expected in a hostel, there is some noise from people using the facilities. I wore earplugs at night and slept well.

I stayed a total of 4 nights in a private room with a private bathroom. Lovely rooms and nice, updated bathrooms. The staff is so friendly, welcoming and helpful. The location was about a 10 minute walk to the metro and I felt comfortable walking there alone (along a well traveled road). The neighborhood is really pretty and quiet. I had my laundry done at the hostel - quick turnaround and beautiful job.

The staff are SO welcoming and friendly. Great kitchen and chill areas. Cheap and quick laundry service too. Cute neighbourhood with GREAT local cafes.

Good location, helpful and knowledgeable staff, very clean rooms, well equipped, very comfortable bed. Sociable if you wanted to be! Had room with private bathroom.

The door locks on the private rooms were quite basic (had to lock the door from the inside and then close it when you leave). I didn't have any problems and the place itself felt safe and secure, but if you're looking to improve something, perhaps improving the lock system on the private rooms or adding safes.

I stayed in a private room, so cannot speak for the dorms. I found the room to be simple yet comfortable. The AC worked wonderfully and the shower pressure was great too (actually the best I had in all my Colombian hostels). The place itself is very peaceful, super well located but hardly any outside noise. I was able to get a good night's rest each night. The staff, as you'll see in other rooms, is amazingly kind and helpful. I liked as well that the hostel itself could be both peaceful yet social at the same time.

The kitchen was busy at times and the room was a bit warm, but people made space and the fans helped!

Close to both the metro station and many restaurants, bars, etc. of Poblado, Black Sheepo Medellin exceeded expectations. A clean and comfortable space with many places for remote work. The atmosphere was always social

One of the receptionists had a very bad attitude one night, but eventually it got sorted. Even though no excuses were given, his mistake was acknowledged by his co-workers. Still giving a "10" because i had a very nice stay there and overall in medellin.

Very good location, close to everything and also "far" from the noise. The hostal is very clean and tidy. Comfy beds.

Awesome hostel. Quiet in the rooms but lively outside. Location is convenient for exploring Medellin as it's next to the metro and a cheap taxi to the clubs at night.

We had ants in our bedroom even when we didn’t have food, the lighting in the bedroom Was bad for people needing to put on make up.

Very close to the metro, safe area of el poblado, on a quiet street, patio is great to hang out, good shower, very clean and they let us store our backpacks after check out and shower.

We had a double room on the 1st floor with shared bathroom facilities. There were two showers but just one toilet - for up to 20 people to share. Not ideal! Not a big issue at all but no mirror in the bedroom (which actually seems to be a common theme in Columbian hostels!) Would be an easy fix.

We loved Black Sheep Medellin hostel! It was brilliant. Fantastic location on a quiet street but walkable to lots of good cafes/bars, really friendly staff that were always happy to help, comfortable double room, well equipped kitchen, nice roof terrace. It was brilliant.

The rooms could get a little warm, but fans are provided.

We loved this hostel! The staff were great, very kind and helpful and the facilities were super clean. It had a great social atmosphere, but not over the top party. Highly recommend!
