We had a room under the roof, and as mentioned by other people, it gets really really warm. There’s only a fan and no AC, which is not the most comfortable at night. The mosquito net had larger holes in it, rendering it rather useless.

Great staff. Good location, a bit further from the center and therefore from the noise at night.

The top bunks of our room were very dirty from issues with the roof and the place was a little run down, not so well maintained, it was noisy at night and the kitchen needed some attention.

We liked the location of the hotel because it was right on the beach and near some good restaurants. We also enjoyed the use of the kitchen.

Great location right on the beach, nice for swimming. We had a room in the new section with a balcony facing the street which turned out to be better than facing the beach due to the heat of the afternoon sun beachfront. Clean room which was cleaned daily. Strong fan in room. Kitchen OK but a bit small for the number of people using it. Best value for money in Rincon considering the location.

The room is not comfortable. They must improve ventilation and change the roof so that it is not metal, the temperature increases too much. The dishes should also vary.

The people are very friendly and the place could be better but they need organize themselves. The beach is beautiful and quiet.

The room was very small, nowhere to put your bag or hang your clothes. A really spartan but moist one. Room with balcony doesn't mean that you have a private balcony, it only means your window opens to balcony of the building and not to a corridor. On one side of the building balconies look to the sea, on the other side to the street. (Music is guaranteed on both sides till late). The first night I didn't have a mosquito net for the bed which made my night more lively after requesting one next day they provided one. At check-in, for some reason they could not fully explain why, but they demanded letting them copying my passport, though they could not show any law requiring that. Only following booking.com's intervention were they willing to change their mind. I'm sure that there are better accommodations in this town among a dozen of alternatives nearby.

Good location, the sea is right in front of the building. The breakfast arepa was good and the ladies preparing it are nice.

1. We booked a private room and it was really good value for the stay. 2. The staff was really kind and friendly. 3. Kitchen had adequate level of utensils if you want to cook. 4. The place is just beachfront so you can have a morning dip as you wake up :) 5. Its location may look a bit far from the center but it is a good thing because the locals have giant speakers which they put very loud music at every night. So you can sleep in quiet atmosphere away from it ;)

This área is very hot, they need to consider hace AC. The room was clean when web arrive, but they didnt made the room more, we stay for 3 nights. There was a pillow with a very bad smell.

The room had a constant bad wet/damp smell, you get used to it after a while but whenever you come back to the room it’s very unwelcoming. The staff weren’t very involved, however one lady who helped us check in was super lovely & welcoming. The kitchen was a bit small but functional.

Location, location, location. The hostel opened up to the beach, it felt like we had our own isolated area to ourselves. Great value for money. It was very chill which is perfect for this type of location, cheap beer & lots of chairs to use for the beach. They also provided a fan for the room which was very much needed. It was also nice to see that the hostel offers tours to different islands, we didn’t get to do it but would have been a nice extra! Also, there’s a close supermarket with necessities, fruit and veg - with nice, friendly locals.

The room had a strong bad smell during our whole second night of staying, they didn't solve. I think because they are in fron of the beach they dont clean rooms while you are there (maybe 'cause there is always sea sand eveywhere). The walls are that thin that you can lisent everything in the rooms around. Local people use to play loud music util late at night, in my case I'm use to it so It wasn't a big problem but I let you guys know just in case.

Stayed there in May 2023 The view was perfect due to the hotel is located just in front of the beach, so you can stay there on the sand, and enjoy sunsets until very late at night. They also offer tours to Tintipan and Mucura islands which are true paradises (70.000 Colombian pesos p/p or 15$) A detail I loved was they have some shelves with books on it that you could take to read at the beach, and you have free coffee and water. The staff is more friendly in person than on the phone. They had "planta electrica" which is useful in case of energy failure, and had water all the time which is great considering is not a resource local people can count on every day.

The rooms are tiny, boiling, noisy and dirty. The walls are not complete so you can hear every noise from every room. The location is nice but so it every hostel in a Rincon, most of which are in the beach. For budget travellers it’s one of the only options sadly. On a positive note they have free refillable water which is great.

Reception staff was very unpleasant, did not explain any facilities to us. We had to figure out ourselves that there is a kitchen, that there is a drinkable water available, that there are kayaks available etc. We were told NOTHING during the check-in. The room has a window that cannot be properly closed and it is facing the shared balcony. The risk of theft is high (although I have to admit, there are cameras all over common areas of the hostel - if that is of any help). Apart of theft-risk it is causing window to be unusable during the day, as A LOT of people will pass next to the window and have a peak. This plus lack of AC = extremely hot room all the time. Really poor solution.

Hostel is literally in front of the beach. Very nice location. There is free water in the reception which may be a huge life saver for anyone who forgot their own supply :) There is a kitchen to cook and fridge to keep your food/drinks cold.

I got food poisoning from the hostels dinner. The host could try a bit more with non Spanish speakers. It would also be nice to offer earplugs and have a night-time during which people have to be quiet in the rooms.

it can be quite noisy since the walls and ceilings aren’t connected. but it’s not terrible waking up early and have more of the sunny day to enjoy there!

The staff were incredibly nice and very accommodating. answered all our questions and numerous requests. the breakfast was tasty. there is a decent sized shady spot on the beach. location is great, right next to another big beach area.
