I loved staying here. Its been my favourite hostel so far. It has everything you need including a gym, 25m pool, working space with a/c and very close to the beach. The food was excellent. All home cooked meals very healthy. I loved it most because all I had to focus on was work and kite surfing. Everything I needed was on site and I was able to get a lot of work done and a lot of kite surfing. I would highly recommend staying here for anyone considering Santa Veronica or Salinas del Ray

It's a very quite and laidback place. You'll find time to rest and recover but also to do plenty of sports or to work. If you are into kitesurfing, it's the place to be! Plenty of sites and schools around. Brees itself offers a very nice pool to so proper swimming and and outdoor gym with plenty of weights. There is a working area, which has dedicated WiFi just for this purpose. The entire personel is wonderful and friendly. The food, breakfast as well as lunch and dinner (both offered for 40k per person each, i.e., ~9€), is just delicous and always freshly made. The rooms offer a great view and the bed is very comfy. Transportation is also offered for a reasonable price (or you take one of the busses nearby to Barranquilla or Cartagena).

NetherlandsFor me personally, there were no downsides. Breakfast starts around 8:30 and might take a while, so if you're in a hurry this can be a downside. But hopefully you're on a vacation and it doesn't matter. There's also one dorm room in the hotel with 4 beds I think. If you're travelling by yourself, expect a calm time and hanging around with a lot of couples.
The food was great and very varied, the rooms were cleaned very well every day. And there was a lot of contact with the other guests, because you all sit together on two tables for the meals. From the hotel, we usually walked to a great wavy spot at the beach where we had a lot of fun kitesurfing. On other days, we took a 5 minute tuc tuc ride to Salinas del Rey.

ParaguayI did have issues paying using my credit card because they use a small device which connects to a phone, instead of a stand-alone unit like most places use.
Very friendly and accommodating staff create a comfortable and relaxed vibe. Delicious meals for lunch and dinner are also available, and for a very economic price.

United KingdomThe water in bathroom didn’t drain very well and stayed on the floor but otherwise design of the property was excellent! It may be useful to add some more information on the website about the best way for people to get to the property (if you’re not driving).
Amazing place to stay with fabulous facilities and delicious food. We did not kite surf but really enjoyed the facilities (the pool, cross fit gym & classes, yoga classes (extra charge). The staff are all very friendly and willing to help. Would highly recommend!

The staff makes you feel part of the family and Nico the owner is always there to make sure you have everything that you need, plus the kiteboarding launch area is only a block from the hotel… Best Hotel in Salinas. I highly recommend this place.

AustriaI have so say, it was the best stay we had in Columbia. We stayed one night on our way from Cartagena to Santa Marta by bike. The hotel is minimalistic and modern. Dinner and breakfast were amazing, columbian dishes with a twist and not to heavy or sweet. The host Nico is super friendly, speaks perfectly english and is interested in all guests and their stories. The hotel is brand new, super clean and the beds are comfy.
