Armenia (lack of laundromats and super-high laundry prices all over town)

Out of 50 or so, this is probably the best budget hotel I've stayed at in Colombia. The rooms are tiny, but if you're traveling light, it works.

The location at night time is a little sketchy. I had no issues but was informed by local friends to get taxis to and from the front door after dark.

Really clean and comfortable. The room was small but had a comfortable bed, a working TV (a rarity in Colombia), small bathroom......ideal for one person especially at the bargain price. The interior of the rooms and hotel are painted in bright vibrant colours and was a short walk from nearby plaza de Bolivar and banks etc. Perfect for a stopover before heading to Salento. The bed was quite firm which I liked but not for everyone.

Only the location - the town centre is not the nicest area of Armenia, but to be honest I only needed to stay there for a couple of nights as I was visiting Salento and the Cocora Valley and wanted to also stay close to the Armenia airport as I had an early flight, so it worked very well for me.

Everything was great, I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel! It is so cheap, the room is spacious, very clean, and the staff were incredibly nice!! It has a supermarket five steps away.

I didn't like the leaks in the ceiling in the bathroom. The bathroom was very small as was the shower. The ceiling leaked in the both rooms that I used.

The room was very clean and the staff very helpful. The hotel is colorful and seems very safe in a rough neighborhood.

The park beside church can seem a bit unsafe, avoid at night. I had no problems there but some travellers might feel a bit uneasy there.

Central Armenia for all buses to terminal, salento filandia montenegro. Lovely staff, 2 minute walk to main square, 2 mins to restaurants and bars. Best value for money ever. All sport and movie channels, Netflix. Could not ask for more, I've travelled central/South America total 4 years, this one is a find. Salento/ financial bus stop is 1 minute from this hotel. Supermarket next door. They will clean room everyday if needed. Internet 100% ...can't recommend enough...tks cafe color

Water took a long time until got hot, so best is to switch it on a good amount of time before showering. Through the little windows above the door enters light which may disturb.

Not easy to refill my water bottle so I end up buying bottled water for my trip outdoor instead.

The shower was perfect, warm water throughout if you go for maximum water pressure. The bed linen and pillow is anti-allergen so for me is perfect as I wake up without any allegic reaction whatsover. The TV has Netflix and Youtube so is a plus for me. Overall will likely to stay again if I have a chance to visit Armenia again.

I didn't get hot water out of the shower, and I was given taxi-to-the-airport information that did not match the reality on the ground.

This spot is clean, and it's near the main strip of Carrera 14. Although the price is low, it does not feel run-down or neglected. The room is very compact, but it has plenty of outlets and shelves, and it has a fan. If you want a budget option, this seems to be a very good pick.

It was clean and modern and comfy. Free coffee / hot drink dispenser. Staff were helpful. Location fine during the day.
