Because of Carnival it was very loud, the pool was stagnant and we did not use it. the breakfast was disappointing

Amazing family owned business they go above and beyond to make sure you are well looked after I was there during the Baranquilla Carnival and they helped organize a taxi and people to go with I personally loved the neighbourhood you couldn't get more real - music all the time hang out with the locals, great st food up the road beautiful church around the corner The breakfast are freshly cooked and yummy with fresh fruit also The decor is amazing and there's a fridge in your room which is so important for cold beverages etc Beautiful pool I left feeling like a part of their family

Check in took to long. Room was not ready when we arrived late in the evening. We advised that we would be checking in late. Breakfast was very poor and was restricted to 9:00 am No on property parking facility. We were instructed by hotel to park our rented car in a parking lot nearby which was always ramgamed with all kind of vehicles. Had to manuever every evening to be able to park with the risk of damaging the car. Car was skratched. Pool looked dirty. Poolwater not clear Almost all staff did their best. Bathroom very small. Dogs were allowed to walk all through the property Early morning noise in hotel.

The room was not well cleaned, especially the bathroom and the Jacuzzi that was placed in the bed room. The room did not have a window, but balcony that had a view to the pool in the courtyard. I left early in the morning to catch a flight, but there was no hot water in room, so no shower for me. The bed has no proper pillows or blankets, just the bedspread and throw pillows. Not very hygienic. The room next door, was under construction and looked like a mess, the door was always open, so you kind of passed a construction site, before getting in your room.

The Location was close to the airport and it was a lively neighborhood, where you could easily find a nice places for food. The staff was very friendly and helpful, although communication was not easy due to my lack of Spanish. I was asking for a beer they did not have on stock, but they went quickly outside and got a cold one for me. Really appreciated this.

They tried to give us a room with one bed and another room adjoining with a sofa bed, when we had booked two rooms with beds. The rooms were dirty and the WiFi and plug points did not work. They also tried to charge us more than our reservation. My friend was woken in the middle of the night to be moved to another room on the instructions of the owner. The worst hotel experience I have had.

This was rather disappointing experience: the hotel is in a quite bad area, I was feeling uncomfortable driving in a taxi to get there, I wouldnt walk around. The room was very small, without any space to store your clothes (not even a rack or hooks) and had a strange smell. There was an electricity outtage that night and no one even came to tell me what is happenning and/or to bring alternative light to use in the room. My room didn't even had a window and the water in shower almost didn't run.

Everything at this hotel was oversold and did not match the expectations done by the marketing. The rooms were VERY small and lacked some basics, such as electrical outlets, soap bars, a floor mat for shower. It’s there little inconveniences that can sour the experience. A lot of time and attention has been given to decor such as lamps and paintings but not much to these small details that separate a marginal hire from a good one. Front desk staff was mostly friendly not the administrative a s accounting systems seemed antiquated and slow. Restaurant food was okay but did not match what was on the menu, for example, dinner was supposed to include sautéed veggies but there were none. Overall, this place was underwhelming, overpriced. I think I’ll pay the same price and stay at a reputable place next time.
