This place feels like a spa! People come here to rest and have comfort. You can chill all day around the pool. The restaurant is amazing (not included)! You are 5' walk from the beach, but have a very quite neighbourhood (no party hostels nearby).

One of the best hostels I have ever been to. it doesn’t actually feel like a hostel as there are many double rooms and, hence, couples. As a solo traveler maybe not the best choice if you want to party and meet tons of new people. I loved the veggie restaurant (the food is amazing, also the breakfast). The pool and the garden are amazing for a relaxed day or evening. Rooms and bathrooms were super clean and nice. There is also a daily yoga class. It said that it was free for guests which it wasn’t in the end (but that’s okay). Staff was really nice.

Amazing hostel - a very chilled and perfect place to relax, ended up extending 3 times because I liked the place and people I met so much, super nice and helpful staff (Katherine in particular was very helpful when I extended my stay). It’s obviously not a party hostel but I found it easy to meet people. Restaurant has really good vegetarian food and is great value for money, probably one of the best restaurants I went to in palomino. Dorms are clean and very nice. It’s a few mins walk from the main road but that’s expected and means it’s quiet around the hostel which is nice. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!

Such friendly and accommodating staff. A really nice vibe when the rest of Palomino seemed quite quiet. We though the rooms, the pool and the dining area were all beautiful too.

The pool area is perfect to relax and just enjoy the surroundings. So quite and peaceful with chill music playing and drinks and snacks easily accessible. The staff are so helpful and friendly. Food was amazing and the included breakfast had great variety. Dorm rooms had aircon, comfortable beds and were nice and quiet for a peaceful sleep.

Few times there was few items on the menu not available. Cold water showers, however we expected this in Colombia.

Great location within walking distance of the beach. The pool area was lovely. First time trying bunk dormitories, which were super clean and beds were very spacious.

The WiFi was very bad, but I believe WiFi and network internet are very bad everywhere in Palomino. Also, you need to know that there will be dogs and cats around at the hotel.

The pool is lovely, especially with the crazy heat! And the food at the hotel is very nice. Also very close to the beach which was good and pretty close to the main road. Good place to spend some days in Palomino!

Nothing that I didn't like! Maybe just the yoga class, they say that it's 'free contribution' but is actually a minimum of 20K contribution! They should say that as it creates a bit of an awkward situation with the teacher..

Amazing little hostel which is more of a boutique hotel. The best breakfast, lovely pool and great food! 5 minutes walk to the beach and ask about the dog shelter palomino walk we did it and it was the highlight of our trip!

Sometimes got pretty busy in the reception area with people waiting to check in/leaving. I know water supply can be temperamental but we did have brownish water coming from our shower one morning.

Food is a little overpriced.

Very calm and relaxing place, quiet location. The private rooms are quite large for a hostel and are well equipped with a fan, a/c, own shower, nice and large double bed and a balcony with a hammock. The food in the vegetarian restaurant is very good as well, and especially the slow food food options are quite large and tasty. The hostel also has a nice Pool, although it is nearly too warm to be refreshing.

My stay at Casa Del Pavo was amazing. The hostel was beautiful and the garden and pool was a great place to relax. The atmosphere was really good and the food was delicious. All the staff were really helpful especially Carlos and Catherine who were both exceptional and professional helping with everything.

The bathroom had a bit of mold in it and the rooms could of been cleaned out a bit more regularly. The location is a bit of a walk from town in the dark but close to the beach so just keep that in mind when booking here!

Casa del Pavo Real is beautiful. It has luscious plants all around the grounds and a clean pool with sunbeds for relaxation. The included breakfast was delicious! Staff were friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and all came with mosquito nets. Air-conditioning and fans were also a must and a big reprieve from the heat. Yoga classes in the morning were also great.

Can't think of anything!

This is the best hostel I have ever stayed at, & completely made our time in Palomino. The design and facilities are more on the level of a nice hotel. We had a private room with balcony, which was a really good size with a hammock on the balcony, clean and well-maintained. The pool is the perfect place to hang out in the daytime to get away from the heat. The food was also all amazing and having the option to eat by the pool is great. It's an easy five-minute walk down to the beach, and Playa la Ola beach club which is owned by the same people is a really nice base for some beach time. The vibe is more relaxed and sophisticated, much less of a backpacker party place than other places in Palomino. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is looking to have a really comfortable and chilled few days in Palomino. We only stayed 2 nights but wished we had stayed longer.

We wish we could stay longer !

Everything was perfect: beautiful place, awesome staff and good food! The room was big, clean and spacious. The hotel offer different services: we tried yoga and massage and both were great! Staff was so nice and sweet, we really loved the place!
