Perfectly located on the edge of town. Very spacious and comfortable apartment. The owner, Valery, was extremely helpful and made sure that we had everything we needed. She arranged transport for us to and from the airport and provided recommendations for things to do in Guatapé. Amazing stay!

Very convenient location, 2 minutes walk to the main square where all the bars restaurants and shops are. Immaculately clean apartment perfect size for 2 people with everything you could need for your stay. Last but not least would like to mention the host, Valery went above and beyond to make our stay as special and memorable as possible, helping us with tips and advice for all the tourist attractions and arranging transport for us as well as boat trip. If I ever return to Guatape it will be to Casa Dodo I have no doubt! Thanks again.

Our room was on the second floor facing a busy street, so there was a lot of street noise with the windows open. However, it does quiet down in the night and did not interfere with our sleep with the windows closed. Some of the other rooms may be quieter.

The apartment was very modern and well designed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything one needs. There was a lot of attention to detail. I loved the body soap provided. The sitting area was very pleasant. The host provided a lot of information in a binder. The information on restaurants was particularly helpul. The washer and dryer was a great addition for longer travels.

Casa dodo is a perfect place to stay in Guatapé. The apartment is situated at the waterfront and just a minute away from the city center. A very nicely decorated apartment with all the equipment you need for a nice stay, even included a filtered water tap. Because of the insulated windows there is hardly no sounds from the traffic. The owner is very helpful and always responds very quickly on questions. If I return to Guatapé I would certainly go there again.

Valery has a wonderful place here in Guatape. It was easy to check-in and she met us in person and showed us around the unit. We rented the smallest one, and it was plenty for 2 people. It faced an interior courtyard, and does not have a view, but it is quiet. It is well-designed and has all that you need. There is a washer/dryer downstairs that you can use for free. There is also a lavanderia nearby. It is in a great location near the malacon and the main walking streets. There is an Asian restaurant connected to the building and they have pretty good food. Valery was an excellent host! She was able to help us with ideas for the remainder of our trip in Colombia. She also arranged a driver for our return trip to the MDE airport.

Exactly what any traveller is looking for! A homely feel, great information, great service but privacy and quiet. lovely facilities and a great book of recommendations to welcome us. The little touches were great like a washing machine and dryer, teas and coffee, great wifi and a secure lock. We didn’t find these things in other places around Colombia so these really made us feel at home! The location was great too, very near town but far enough to the end of the road that it made getting the bus easy (in and out) and it was quiet. Also great place to walk along the seafront. Two bathrooms really helped too!

Having to leave.

This was an excellent place to stay in Guatape. My apartment was clean, comfortable and modern, with a full kitchen, clean bathrooms and comfortable beds. The location could not have been better - right on the malecon with a view of the lake!!! Close to restaurants and just a block from the main square. The washer and dryen also were much appreciated after a week of traveling. The host, Valery, was incredibly helpful and had excellent suggestions for things to do and see in the area. She also arranged my transport to Medellin when the time came to depart. Highly reccommended.

Not longer enough

Valery is an amazing host. She was very kind and helpful - she even help us sorted out our issues with our domestic flight. The apartment we had was perfect and well located ! Clean, well equipped and with “bon goût” WiFi was working perfectly and we even had Netflix on TV to rest after our long day. We’ve been warmly received, and welcome beverages were waiting in the fridge. She speaks perfectly Spanish, English & French. Merci pour tout Valéry
