Closer to the main road than the beach, but Palomino is so small nothing is far away

We spent 6 very lovely days at Casa Guiwa and can highly recommend it! A very lovely staff, very well organized although there were many rooms booked. We almost felt being part of the hostel family. The breakfast and little garden are very nice add ons! Muchas gracias por todo :)

Really hard to find. Especially at night. Kinda far to the beach comparatively and from the main tourist drag.

Staff and breakfast were great. Beds comfy and room clean.

Only one bathroom on the floor I was staying on, the sockets are a bit far from the bed.

Nice, quiet place. A bit of a walk from the Main Street but thanks to that it’s peaceful. Lovely garden and daily breakfast. Good value for the money spent.

The hostel is really great, good beds and everything is really clean. The price is really cheap and it's including a very good breakfast. The staff is really friendly and helpful I lost my keys from the room but they didn't charge me for that.

Some bathrooms had some problems which however were immediately solved.

I found Casa Guiwa Hostel a nice place to stay for a few days in Palomino. The kindness of the staff and the breakfast won me over. Breakfast is served in a back garden where there are also hammocks to relax in. The price of the stay is also unbeatable. Highly recommended!

I couldn’t find the receptionist when I came in. It’s definitely not a social place but good for a chill time.

It was quiet and I needed a break. Breakfast was awesome and staff were super welcoming and friendly and understanding about how tired I was and even let me check in early - super valuable. Room was spacious and beds clean. Close enough to the main strip and the bus stop.

The room was really hot at night, and since the windows do not have mosquito nets we did not feel free to stay with the windows open during the night. Palomino can get extremely warm with high humidity in the night. There was a fan but it was really huge for the room and it was not easy for us to find a way to sleep well.

Very friendly and welcoming staff! The terrace in the back is very nice for breakfast and to chill out. The room with private bathroom is big enough to feel confortable.

Nice, clean, quiet, comfortable. Fans in the dorm. Nice garden with hammocks to chill in. Very friendly and kind welcome and information. 10/15 minutes walk to the beach. Great breakfast - eggs, arepas, fresh fruit and coffee.

The room was very hot and humid, even the fan was not helping. We could not have the window opened as it would not be safe (our room was on a ground floor). The shower head was broken. During the night, there was nobody on the reception and we had another guest banging on our window to let her inside as she forgot the key.

The room and the bathroom was very spacious and the lady that checked us in was very nice and welcoming. It was nice to have breakfast in the garden in the morning. Everything was very clean and the location was good as it is not in the middle of all restaurants and bars, so it was quiet.

In general the price is good for what it has but It’s not that well located because you need to walk around 25min to reach the beach and it’s so so hot that you don’t have patience to comeback to the room every time you want. And don’t be late for breakfast (until 9.30pm) because I arrived one day at 9:38pm and they didn’t serve men breakfast anymore and they try to ‘compensate’ saying they could still offer one breakfast but i had to pay for the other so I felt like a kid that was being punished. Also it’s was Sunday so it normal that you might wake up a little later if you go out to have a drink or so. It was only 8 minutes so I think they could have been a little more flexible
