I was very lucky with my accommodation choice in Palomino - Casa Juana is a very quiet and welcoming place with wonderful staff and a great choice of activities. They arranged horse riding on the beach and a visit to an indigenous people village for me - both activities were wonderful. My room had a private terrace with a hammock. There are also hammocks in the common areas of the building. Wifi signal was strong and reliable - good for work calls. Hope to be back one day!

Very nice and safe place: quiet, but in short walking distance to the main road. Excellent service (people are extremely kind and helpful), very good breakfast and big terrace with a hammock. Comfy commun area! Would highly recommend this accommodation!

Room was small and more rustic than anticipated so we had to to take turns passing by end of bed, although there was enough storage and hanging gear provided.

Friendly people and quiet location. Nice if you dont want to be near party crowd but easy walk to shopping,, restaurants and beach. We enjoyed the balcony with outside table and hammock and view of the jungle complete with loads of birdsong in the morning. The cat and dogs were also friendly.

Because you're surrounded by so much nature, there tend to be a lot of mosquitoes, but of course that's not the owner's fault. Just don't forget mosquito spray.

We first stayed at Hostel Dreamer and left after two days because it was far too loud for us. We booked Casa Juana spontaneously and were pleasantly surprised. The property and especially the garden are beautiful and very cozy. The owner was extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly. We can only warmly recommend the place, thank you very much for the lovely stay.

The day it rained we fell out of electricity, the whole village did. It is not the most eveloped place but everything worked out well, it was just one evening and we got a extention cord from our host.

Very friendly staff. There is coffee and other drinks any time available. They offer breakfast between 8-9am but we've never tried because of waking up late. There is a small kitchen outside where you can cook. The shared area is very cosy and big wit a nice garden they take a good care of. They have a sweet chubby dog and few cats. The cats suprised us every now and then at our balkony, wich we loved. The room with the hammock was basic but I really liked it. There is a net around the bed wich will come very handy. Make sure you buy a good moscuitospray before you come to Palomino. It is a beautiful cosy village, worth visiting but there are a lot of moscuito's and fascinating insects and a lot of frogs. The beach is beautiful and not too touristic.

We absolutely fell in love with this place. From the moment you step food on the property, the staff makes you feel at home. They put so much thought and love into their work and always feel one step ahead into making your stay even better. During our stay of more than 2 weeks, we stayed in three different rooms and every room comes with their own unique advantage. The place is only a short walk from the beach and restaurant area but far enough to be completely calm and peaceful. We loved hanging out in the hammocks, spending time with the cats and dog of the place (especially fell in love with Dalí!) and enjoyed the big breakfast every morning. 100% recommended to stay here. Trust me, you will not want to leave anymore. (and buy the game ligretto :)

Very quiet location away from the main street, but still close to the beach and the main part of the town. It's super cosy, with nice common area are to chill out in hammocks. The staff was probably the best we've experienced in Colombia so far - friendly, helpful and informative. Would definitely come back again while in Palomino.

My room was a bit small and there was no hot water - but that's a classic on carribean coast.

A great place to chill out with relaxing atmosphere :) Very friendly staff, peaceful location about 7min walk from the main commercial street and 5min walk to the beach. Delicious breakfast. Drinks (beer, cocktails, fruit juices, hot beverages...) offered for a very reasonable price. Cute common area with hammocks to chill out. I can also highly recommend a deep tissue massage - it was amazing!

casa Juana palomino was very beautiful and the people who worked there were very friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient if you want to avoid crowds and loud music just a few minutes walk to the main street and the beach. the rooms were clean and the bed is comfortable.
