We are a Swiss family spending our first holidays in Colombia. We found this extraordinary beautiulf Relais et Chateaux in Cartagena and can highly recommend it. Katherine with her team was taking care of all our wishes. The rooms are very beautiful and in original style. The pool area is very pleasurable and the food and service are outstanding.

I wish they had a spa facility,

The location was excellent and absolutely loved the decor. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in and loved the added touch of a Toto toilet, double vanity ans Ortigia bath products in our bathroom. The room was very spacious too! Not to mention the staff - simply excellent. Friendly and so helpful!! Everyone from the front desk staff, the waitstaff and the bellman - they made our stay so special.

There was some painting being done which required some scaffolding. The lower level rooms don't have a view due to privacy.

Phenomenal service and support from the concierge booking restaurants and cocktails on several nights of our stay. They also own a private beach in Baru with another top hotel which was a wonderful experience. If we had known we may have stayed the night in a cabin there.

This was the best experience we had during our road trip along the Caribbean coast of Colombia! What a wonderful hotel, great location, excellent service and outstanding food!

Some staff at breakfast were not up to the standards of the hotel. I think a bit more training and all will be solved. On the last day we were having a sunset drink by the pool as we had a late flight and we were reminded that "we checked out already" by one of the reception staff. I found it not very nice, even if they apologized straight away and offered the drinks. It is minor things, we will return :)

This is a big 10. After 76 countries and many great hotels, this hotel is one of the best we ever stayedm nothing is too much trouble to them. They are nice and welcoming, room was very big, the place is romantic, and much better in real life than in pictures. It has great atmosphere, lounge music by the pool, sunset drinks on some days, minibar is complimentary, and a lot of nice surprises like this. I want to go back to Cartagena just to stay here again. Thank you very much for such a happy weekend.

We spend a week during November in the Hotel. We couldn’t ve chosen a better location. The Hotel is beautiful, it has been recently renovated in great taste and comfort. The rooms are spacious, warm and cozy. The staff is friendly and attentive. Being Cartagena an incredible place, if you add a stay in Casa Pestagua you are basically creating the perfect vacation. Five stars!!

Our room was beautiful, clean, and very spacious. The pool was relaxing and the lounge chairs were always ready with towels, which we really appreciated. Service was phenomenal, it's an amazing hotel! Also, the breakfast is really good, fresh fruits, coffee and bread, we'd recommend trying it. It was really a great stay!

While everyone was VERY friendly, the service was not a strong as other properties. If you order a drink or ask for something in the pool area …expect to wait a while!

The prices could be adjusted to better reflect local prices and less European standards. Additionally, the restaurant could add more local dishes and improve the overall food quality. Lastly, be sure to come prepared for mosquitoes on the ground floor, although this is not just a problem at this hotel. Despite these minor issues, the location is truly enchanting and a perfect place to start or end your visit to Colombia.

This place is almost magical, you are indulged and treated as a royal the moment you put your first step at the entrance. The staff is super polite and guest friendly with an smile on their faces. A truly amazing location and experience at the heart of Cartagena. PS: The front desk team was exceptional, and Luis the bellboy went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Great location, amazing and attentive staff, and all of the amenities you would expect from a 5-star hotel. An oasis in the middle of the walled city! They are also owned by the same company as Casa San Augustin and can help arrange Spa services there. Very happy with our stay and will definitely return!

Hotel is beautifully furnished and maintained. Location is within minutes of great restaurants and shopping. Staff is friendly and well-trained. They called us by name within a day of arriving. Breakfast service is excellent and creative. We felt as tho we were staying with close friends. Nothing was a problem.
