we arrived for checkin within the opening hours and we need to chase the lady who opened us the door to call the guy who has to provide us the keys, as he wasn’t there. Second day no space enough for breakfast as too many people and missing some things to enjoy the meal.

Good position and big bedroom. The cleaning lady always extremely helpful, she provided us information and she even offer us to call taxi driver when she saw us with backpacks.

You could hear the club music(until 4:00 am) from inside the room I was in.

We weren't able to open the window to have fresh air in the room, a fan would be great to have available for folks that prefer not having AC.

Wonderful place to stay in Santa Marta. The staff were all delightful, delicious breakfast, comfortable bed and excellent location a short stroll from restaurants/bars/etc. Highly recommend.

The only thing I can think of is that the rooms, while really cute, don’t have natural light if you want to keep the bugs and heat out. They have the pretty wooden shutters but you have to keep them closed because the windows don’t have glass. (We’ve stayed in quite a few of the rooms as we go here with some frequency) I’ve seen the same at other hotels so maybe it’s not uncommon in Santa Marta?

Fantastic staff as always. Everything is very clean and they have great attention to detail. They even have a little candy snack/coffee bar out in the afternoons for guests to nibble at. The breakfasts are delicious! The soaps and hair products are great and smell super yummy too.

We had 2 cockroaches in our room which was disturbing but we understand that it happens in tropical countries.

The pool they advertised on the site is a bit misleading. It was like a bathtub in a hallway and was kind of dirty so not inviting at all - but they do allow you to use the pools of neighboring hotels if you really want to, so I’m guessing they know it’s not good.

Our room was great! Room was clean and large, even had a little sitting area with the tv that you could close off from the bed area - which is nice if you don’t want to go to sleep at the same time. The location is so good!! Literally steps to the happening area or the beach. Staff were really friendly and breakfast was very good too!

Tiny bathroom. Bug with everything needed. No swimming pool however one available at the sister hotel nerby.

The hotel building is historic, and they’ve done a great job preserving the historical elements while keeping the rooms modern and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location is nearby many great restaurants and the waterfront.

You have several breakfast options apart from eggs and arepa. My room was really spacious, with an adjacent living room. The place is quiet and decorated lovely. During your stay you can sit on the terrace or in the living room on the second floor. A hotel from the same chain has a (tiny) pool you are allowed to use. They offer you drinking water for free and have several activities in which I could not participate. Nice and helpful staff.
