Smoke complaint, as the building was quite old – some of the light switches and electrical were not working. The wall city can be quite loud until three or four in the morning, no fault of the hotels, but something to be aware of.

The rooftop pool is small but good for a drink and relaxing with a view.

I enjoyed our short stay with my family. Our room was spacious and the shower was amazing. The water pressure and amenities were excellent. We will definitely come back soon. The location is at the heart of the walled city and close to all local attractions.

There was nothing to dislike

There is not one thing negative thing that I can say. The hotel was AMAZING. We will absolutely be back. We will absolutely recommend 20 stars out of ten.

It was a bit noisy at night but that’s probably the same anywhere in the old town.

The rooms, dining area and pool facilities were all beautiful and done with a lot of attention to detail. Especially the pool area was very nice and we used it a lot since it was so hot during our stay. The staff was friendly and attentive. We would come back any time!

The hotel is in a very lively (and noisy) area which is part of its charm. They have rooms on the street with balconies which are loud but which we prefer. Originally, we were given a room with a window facing a high interior wall. This room would be great for people who want to be in the centre of the action but need a quiet place for sleeping.

Great location - you reach everything in the old town in just a few minutes. The hotel is nicely appointed and the breakfast lovely. We had an issue with the room (it was incorrectly described on Booking.com) but the manager moved us the next day.

Rooms were pretty dark but it’s normal as it is an old traditional house. The light switches are so technological that it’s difficult to get used to them. I counted 5 different remotes in the room. But this is just a detail as the rooms are equipped so well and without thinking of costs.

Beautiful traditional house restored with highest standards and all details. The most comfortable bed and bed linen of all Colombia. Hyper technological light switches, curtains, tv going up and down. Breakfast a la carte nice with great service. Staff was very nice. The roof top pool was amazing, so secluded and private.

Unfortunately the AC was not manageable in the room but at the front desk, it was really not handy. Breakfast could be a bit more generous.

Management should install sound canceling windows!But not a biggie we slept well

Best location,look no further.Yes the tiny street might be loud next to the hotel at night, but you will be right in the center by the best restos and nightlife spots/cocktail bars.The room was lovely and we had running water despite Cartagena having water shortage for half a day.The food and cocktails were also divine.It is safe around the hotel and i would not consider staying elsewhere in the old town.

Cartagena is a very charming but busy and noisy town. The area around the hotel is noisy at night time (upto 3-4am when we were there) so if you need a quiet night then make sure to request a room away from the street.

Comfortable clean modern rooms, central location in the walled town, very friendly and super helpful staff, quality breakfast, small rooftop pool area for cocktails at sunset.

The pictures posted on booking.com are of all different suites and are misleading. They have multiples different styles and might not get what is in the picture

Service at this hotel was outstanding. You never pushed in a chair or opened a door. They even sent a worker with me to a liquor store at night to make sure I found it, I was safe, and the price was fair. Incredible.

Very friendly service started from the welcome when we arrived. Excellent breakfast and a beautiful room. Top location right in the centre. The rooftop pool made this a very relaxing hotel for a 3 night stay.
