Patrice and Gabriel are just amazing human beings and host! They were so helpful, giving me all the possible information about what to do and how to be safe in the city. The breakfast was simple but amazing with fruits, bread, butter and jam and coffee. The kitchen is clean and complete with everything you will need to cook and the garden is very nice. The mattress in the bed could be a bit more comfortable. Internet connection could be better in the bedroom (we stayed in a double room).

Patricia and Gabriel are great hosts, make you feel at home and provide very good recommendations about Bogotá. A great breakfast, very welcoming atmosphere, and an incredible house with a nice backyard makes El Cedrón a great place to stay some days in Bogotá.

Nothing - if you’re looking for a relaxing space after a day of walking or days of travelling, this is it.

We stayed in the double bedroom. Provided a quiet nights sleep, perfect for weary travellers. Enough blankets to be very warm even as night temperature drops in Bogotá. Location is perfect for walking into Candelaria. Essentially we loved that this is not a party hostel. It’s an authentic space, in a literal family home, which looks and feels welcoming and relaxing. The kitchen/dining area is wonderful so too the garden with hammocks and building at the end of the garden where you can stretch and relax. Brilliant husband-wife duo who live there and run it.

The top bunk beds are clearly worse than the bottom ones with little room for your stuff and little privacy. Luckely I was moved to a bottom bed once one was available

This is the perfect place to stay for a couple of days to explore La Candelaria. The hostel is simple, but has everything you need. The staff is amazing, cooks good meals, is helpful and flexible. Highly recommended!

Gabriel and Patricia really look after you! Breakfast is basic but enough. Dorms are comfortable and plenty of sitting space inside, outside and in the games room at the back. They are very aware of your safety and if you order an Uber, will wait outside with you until it arrives. Nice walk into the main part of town and plenty of places to eat close by.

Incredible hostel, best owners you can imagine! 24hrs reception, super friendly, always there to chat with you or answer any questions. Laundry service cheap and fast, free breakfast contains coffee, toast, jam and fruits. It's a social hostel but not a party hostel. Beds are super comfy, have extra blankets if you get cold at night. Big lockers to put your valuable belongings there. Loved the stay here, 11/10!!

There was some music/noise from the neighbourhood at night but having travelled around Colombia for two weeks this seems to be the norm all over the country except the amazon!

A lovely family run hostel. Great location in the historic centre close to museums, galleries, restaurants etc. Nice breakfast of a big bowl of fruit salad and toast. We shared a private twin room with bathroom which was comfortable and clean.

The house is a piece of history, it's perfectly preserved, Gabriel and Patricia run this hostel in a very kind way. The kitchen The breakfast is just like at mom's or granny, you feel at home. It would be good if the top bunk had a safety rail. Just some people move around in their sleep and it wouldn’t be ideal if someone fell out.

The staff are amazing. So lovely & helpful. They are very careful about safety which initially I didn’t understand why but after having my roommates in Medellin get robbed at night in the hostel room I understand. This place is very safe & secure.

Nothing. I felt so happy and comfortable at Cedron.

Staying at Cedron feels like a homecoming. I felt cared for and secured. I felt like I was visiting my Auntie and Uncle's Home. The hostel managers Gabriel and Patricia were always so thoughtful and helpful. I felt that they considered me like a family member visiting. Thank you very much, Cedron! I had a wonderful stay, 100%!
