The perfect hostel to relax and start your stay in Bogota. A real home away from home! Very comfortable, rooms are spacious, the fruit that comes with breakfast is always fresh, but most importantly the members of staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would recommend staying here if only to experience their hospitality! The other guests are very friendly too, and the way in which the kitchen is designed means it’s very easy to meet people. A good location in La Candelaria, approx. 10 minutes from Plaza Bolivar. If I return to Bogota I will 100% stay at Cedron Hostel again. Thanks Gabriel & team!

As the building is quite old noise travels a lot but it’s not a party hostel so it’s not so bad. Would be nice to have a living room area inside the house to chill but not a big deal.

Beautiful old building with big family kitchen, lovely garden and games room at the back of the garden. The family that run the hostel are incredibly polite, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is good, the location is great and the WiFi works well. Really cosy family social vibe would highly recommend :)

my favourite hostel!! I stayed here thrice, the family running it are so lovely, really make you feel at home. great location in the more quiet candelaria very close to the main street and square. the building itself is gorgeous, great kitchen and garden, meeting other interesting backpackers.. can't recommend it enough!!

It would be nice if there was a more comfortable/cozy common area besides the kitchen

The hostel feels like a family home, it's lovely, and the owners are very kind. Good social vibe in the kitchen. The bed was comfortable with super warm blankets. Breakfast was basic but nice. There were a few people working and the Wi-Fi worked well most of the time.

I know it has been said, but this is your home away from home in Colombia. I stayed here upon my arrival and departure from Colombia, and it hurt to leave both times. Gabriel and Patricia are angels. I met others travelers staying here that I traveled with for weeks after. Muchos Gracias!

Everything was perfect

One of the best hostel I've been, I'm happy that my first time in Colombia I chose it. Its so cosy, they have a small park, good equipped kitchen, good hot shower, design of hostel is also great. And family that works here soo nice. You always safe and feel relaxed here.

It would be great if each bed had a plug closer and a little curtain for privacy.

Once I stepped inside this place I was absolutely amazed! It's cozy, it's well cared for, its cute kitchen and big backyard are beautiful. The trees are huge and so old. Besides, there's a big lounge where we danced salsa! Gabriel, Patricia and Shirley make you feel at home and go out of their way to help you.

For people who want to book a bed in the dorm upstairs, there is no toilet upstairs. It didn't bother me but I prefer to mention this small detail

The owners are so nice and friendly, I felt like I'm home . Everything was perfect! It was very clean and the bed was so comfy, I slept like a baby. They made everything to make you feel good . I was happy to miss my flight because i could have spent one more night there. It was the best hostel so far, don't waste your time to find another place in Bogota
