How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Not very modern, in general the hotel is nothing exceptional to deserve more than 7 stars
Everything was decent, good value for money. Great choice if you need a one night stay before your morning flight

I requested to the hotel the pickup service at the airport and on arrival they were confused about the price of the service. They took a really long time doing checking for a small family before being able to do my checkin.
The best location for a long overnight layover, super close to the airport. I'm a light sleeper and despite being close to the airport, I almost didn't hear planes or street noise. Breakfast was simple but tasty and the kitchen staff were very kind. They also provide room service from a restaurant nearby for dinner. Great value for your money!

Clogged pipe in the shower, but this apart was all good.
Perfect location. close to the airport, quiet neighbourhood, clean rooms and friendly staff. The taxi service was superb.

Rooms a bit warm for us - bearing in mind we’re coming from a place where it’s often cold. A fan would’ve been helpful.
Excellent service and communication. Arranged a taxi to collect us from airport. Beds were comfy. Lovely location - lots of parks, nice places to eat and drink, street market, lots of trees and flowers, kids playground. Breakfast was excellent.

My only complaint is that the smoke detectors are always low on batteries and beeping in the hallways loudly all night. When I asked them to address that, they said it was normal and unplugged them. I’ve had similar experiences throughout Latin America and it seems to be a common misconception about how these devices function. Beep … beep … … beeeeep
Have stayed here a few times and it’s really convenient. Fair price for the shuttle service and they were prompt and communicative during my late night pick up.

Ventilation inside the room can be better
convenient place, close to big calle 26 avenue, and to the city airport. The hotel is located on a residential area, so in the inmediate 4/5 blocks there is not much happening. If you walk further you can find small shops. Staff friendly and help us a lot.

Having an elevator would have been nice.
Amazing staff, super helpful and friendly, their service goes above and beyond. The hotel is modest but has all you need for a comfortable stay. Convenient location, near the airport.

Thin doors, you can hear everything in the halls. The bathroom was tiny, you had to essentially get into the shower to close the bathroom door and had to have the door closed to access the sink to brush your teeth. Our toilet had plumbing issues, they couldn't get it to flush even after plunging it, so we were left without a functioning toilet for the night and had to go down to reception (4 floors down) to use the bathroom as the hotel was full and there wasn't another room for us to use. No elevator if you have trouble with stairs.
The room was huge, comfortable beds, hot water shower with ok pressure. Staff was very welcoming and responsive. Breakfast was good and the hotel is mostly quiet.

Electrical sockets didnt work properly. Whatever I tried to plug in fell out just as fast. Pretty dangerous tbh
