Bathroom was very hot and had no air changing. This makes bad mould problems with strong smell.

Not much to say. Location is a 5-10 min walk from downtown, which is very doable: safety is pretty good in Leticia. No window in the room though.

Great option if you want to be able to sleep properly! Rooms have good and reliable AC. Bathrooms are also clean and well maintained, and the owners will welcome you with a nice smile. Probably hard to beat in terms of cost vs. quality/comfort in Leticia. You also get towel, soap, water and ok Wifi. I would definitely come back!

The plastic cover on the mattress under the sheets was a bit annoying but i guess they were new :)

Air conditioning is a big plus. If you don’t like it there’s also a very new fan on the wall. Toilet is spacious and clean! Mattresses super comfy. Very quiet place due to its location. Don Javier is a very friendly and welcoming person!

Excellent hotel which is absolutely deserving of 5/5. The ensuite bedroom was clean, light and comfortable. I paid $11.00 for a double room via a booking platform without AC but with a fan (AC is available within the rooms for extra), though the fan was more than satisfactory. The room consisted of said fan, a television, double bed, stool, table and clothes rail. A towel and soap was provided too. The water was cool, but you'll not want a warm shower as it is far too hot outside for that. There is free drinking water from a cooled filter and a common area to sit. The place was new, clean,bright and friendly. Would recommend 100%

It is a bit far from town center, well, 10 minutes walking. It was no problem for but keep in mind. Walking was safe, no problem

It is a bit far from centre, about 10-15 min walking, was nice for me but if you don't like walking you would meed a taxi or scooter service which hotel can provide.

It's kind of out of the way from all other hotels and hostels. The town is very small though so walking to the main street only takes about 5 minutes and it's still no more than 25 minutes walking to anywhere in the town.

Hotel Chafo is in a quiet location at the end of dead-end street, right at the border with Brazil. It's within walking distance of downtown Leticia and felt safe. Rooms were simple but clean and comfortable. I recommend paying a little extra for the air conditioning. The best thing about it is the owners who were very friendly and helpful.

It's very basic, but clean and comfy and well-located, both near the "action" but isolated from noise and the hustle and bustle. Nothing to complain about.

Javier and Natalia and their children are wonderful hosts, and Javier is also a taxi driver, and was always willing to help us get around. The hotel is at the end of the street, but only two or three blocks from the main road that takes you to the border with Brazil--walking distance. It's very basic--no free breakfast, but the accommodations are comfortable and the internet works as well as it does anywhere else in Leticia. The price simply can't be beat. And their kids will sit and tell you about what there is to do and see.

Tha family was so welcoming and lovely, I couldn't recommend staying here enough whilst in Leticia. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome, and were incredibly helpful in organising the tour I had booked whilst in Amazonas.

I really enjoyed my stay here, great value for you're money, this is a quiet hostel, very chilled, the facilities are really nice. (They even have air-conditioning in the rooms) Owners are really nice.

No sign and right at the edge of town. Probably safe to get to, but the road is not finished so definitely bring a flashlight/torch.

A wonderful place with great hostess. Good WiFi.
