I think it may be a cultural thing, I use washcloths and neither Costa Rica, nor Cartegena had them. The bed was a little firm for me, but my husband slept like a rock. We didn't have any glasses in the room, but we also didn't ask. I'm sure they would have been provided. They have only been open since December 2023 and are doing a wonderful job.

The breakfast was wonderful! They completely accounted for my food allergies. Fresh fruits and juices, local flavors and a faboulous cook. Rudolpho! Such a sweet man. No english at all, but my limited spanish warmed his heart and helped me learn more. We also had a very tasty lunch. The owners, Francisco ans Estafania( Stef), are fabulous too. There was a holiday during our stay, and Francisco walked up the street to the restaurant we were going to eat at that night to check if it was open so we would waste our time. What great service! I am a scent person and all the soaps are really nice and didn't bother my allergies. He made great recommendations on other restaurants and grocery stores also. The almost always sleeping house cat is very sweet. It was very easy to get to and from the airport and ubers are the only way to go. Be sure to have your translater app. Most drivers are not bilingual.

There wasn't anything negative about our stay; everything was perfect!

From the moment we stepped through the doors, we were warmly greeted by the staff, who went above and beyond to accommodate our family, including our one-year-old niece. Speaking of the room, it was impeccably clean and well-appointed, providing all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail did not go unnoticed, from the bedding to the thoughtful touches like extra towels and toiletries. The staff and owner were wonderful and looked after us every moment of our stay. They accommodated our early check-in on the day we arrived, which was very helpful. The facilities are new, breakfast was great and I especially appreciated the all-day coffee, tea and water offering. The hotel is small and charming, very relaxed and quiet. The bathroom in our room was spacious and up to date.

The location is perfect for easy access to the airport, and the owner and her staff were just wonderful. She even arranged for a 6:30am breakfast and drove us to the airport! She also upgraded us to a room with a balcony. The kindness and service we experienced exceeded our expectations, especially in view of the reasonable room rate. We’ll be back!

It would be a good idea to put some hooks on the walls so you can hang a few things.

Newly opened hotel in a residential area and only a short walk from the airport. Very clean and tastefully decorated with spacious bathrooms and comfortable beds. The breakfast was great and the chef made sure we were happy with everything. The owner was super welcoming and offered us a lot of good tips about local restaurants. Perfect base if you need to be close to the airport.

Location was a bit far from the scene of the action. Taxi drivers could never find it. Even when I showed them the address and location in Spanish.

Wonderful hidden gem that makes you feel special. I loved everything about the place. Fransisco at the front desk was always so happy and willing to chat and answer any questions a guest might have.The entire property was spotless. Housekeeping friendly and they did a wonderful job in cleaning the room. The breakfasts are wonderful. Fruit, breads, eggs and potatoes all made to order when you were ready. Juices were fresh. The chef was fabulous. He will even prepare a delicious lunch for you if you plan in advance. There’s a nice small pool on the property that’s wonderful for a quick dip after a busy day of seeing the city. I highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

This cozy boutique is family owned and operated and when you come here to stay they treat you as such, My experience at the hotel was exceptional as they catered to my every need. Francisco, the owner, ensured that my stay was memorable and enjoyable. by recommending and finding the perfect tourist attraction for me. I'm a hard critic when it comes to food but the entree's served here was "Chef's kiss". The premises is gated but the neighborhood is very safe - for added security there is a guard after 4 pm. The location is close to nearby restaurants as well as other attractions. What more to say - you'll love this place!

The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating. Francisco went out of his way to stay in touch with me about our arrival and pick up. The breakfast was light and exactly what we needed. The chef even offered to cook us lunch at whatever time we wanted. We arrived at night and Francisco made recommendations on where to go to eat and called us a taxi. Conveniently close to the airport and not at all far from the walled city. We felt safe walking around the neighborhood.

The safety box was too small, would recommend them to get bigger ones incase you want to fit a laptop or camera.

The property is very nice and well maintained. I was there with 4 of my friends for a duration of 7 nights. Breakfast was included throughout our stay the entire week & was made by a very kind hearted chef that would also make anything else you’d like during the day if you let them know im advance that you are planning to have other meals at the hotel. Room service was offered every day at flexible hours as well as separate sets of towels for the pool/beach. Keep in mind this is a very cozey place where the owner used to have as a home and later transformed into a hotel by adding a third floor. There was security every night which made it feel extremely safe. The airport was a 5 min drive away and Marbella beach was a 15 min walk from the hotel. Theres a convenience store right around the corner as well as street food carts, restaurants, hair salons, nail salons & drugstore all accessible right around the corner at 2 to 10 min walks. I really recommend this location.

It's not a problem with the hotel per se but Google Maps put us on a perpendicular street about 100 meters from the hotel. The hotel was very helpful in guiding us once we called them

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, though we felt that the owners' presence and their rules were a bit stifling. Additionally, we had the street facing room which was bright and louder at night but I guess it's a toss up between beauty and tranquility, and I recognize that I'm a light sleeper. Also, I give them credit for caring about improving. They should put out a sign. If people are looking for it it's opposite the pedicab lot.

Indeed, it is a beautifully designed hotel. Definitely the best towels and nicest room, our faced the street and a better than average breakfast. The cook was very nice and friendly, as were Pamela and Francisco. The neighborhood is very chill, quite and cooler than cartegena.
