I would just suggest one thing: send an automatic message to warn that the hostel is not open for early arrival (meaning before checking hours) or that it can be arranged before arrival. I usually leave my bag or stay in the common area if arriving earlier than check-in in a hostel and it's never been an issue anywhere. However, when i arrived at Cielo, i had to wait in the street for 2 hours (a nice neighbour gave me a chair) as the doors were closed and the family out. Nothing dramatic and that's legit as it is a family run business but it would be good to specify it.

Steep way up but worth it ! The view is amazing, it's rather spacious and comfortable. The host family is so nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend it !

A wonderful hostel in Taganga run by a very hospitable family who did so much for me while I stayed and when I was a little sick! The dorm room is amazing with breathtaking views of the Taganga beaches and the communal kitchen and hammock area were great! A real home from home and my favourite hostel in Colombia 🙏

The hostel can be difficult to reach uphill if you are less mobile. There are fans in the room, but they did not reach my bed so I was very warm.

Every thing was perfect

Every thing was wonderful. The location is perfect the scenery is beautiful on the baie. The hostel is big and clean. The host Carolina and her Kids are realy sweet. And good breakfast. I realy recommend a 100% this place. There is good hiking around and you can buy fish at the beatch and cook it at the hostel. Thank you Carolina.

The entrace is a bit steep. But that's what you get for staying the mountain and having an amazing view.

The hotel is managed by a very nice and helpful family, there is a terrace to spend some time chilling in the hammocks. The breakfast were very nice as well and the hotel is located in a calm lane close to the village.

the hostel is at the top of a very steep hill and was quite hard to climb up with the luggage. but once I had my bag up it was the best feeling ever to enjoy the view and the chill athmosohere

The location is up on a steep hill, which means climbing quite a few stairs. We stayed in the Family room (4 beds) and it was not super clean.

We had a great 2 night stay in this property! It has an AMAZING sunset view on the rooftop terrace! The host was very friendly and helped us out with some transportation.

Carolina and her family make you feel immediately at home. It’s a steep walk up the mountain to enter the hostel, but the view is more than worth it. Cielo hostel is perfect place to experience the more tranquillo but excellent vibes of the fisherman’s village of Taganga.

I highly recommend Cielo hostel to anyone visiting Taganga, the hostel is up a little hill before you get to the main beach and there is just a short walk down. The view from the hotel balcony is incredible, it was so nice to wake up to during my stay. Cielo is run by Carolina, her 2 sisters and her son, Daniel, and the whole team are the loveliest people, so happy to help and make you feel like part of the family as soon as you walk in the door. The hostel has everything you need, it is very clean, there is a kitchen, and laundry service is also offered. I had such a lovely stay that I want to go back again! Thank you so much !!
