Fluorescent tube light in the room is rather harsh/cold.

Quiet and secure place with an amazing view from the rooftop terrace. Hostess was really kind and helpful. Kept our bags while we went to Tayrona for a night, let us shower when we came back, and arranged our boat trip and airport taxis. Laundry service available. Use of kitchen/fridge to cook, make coffee etc. Incredible value for money.

A wonderful hostel in Taganga run by a very hospitable family who did so much for me while I stayed and when I was a little sick! The dorm room is amazing with breathtaking views of the Taganga beaches and the communal kitchen and hammock area were great! A real home from home and my favourite hostel in Colombia 🙏

the view was so so beautiful. the family is super friendly and make a delicious breakfast for you. keep in mind that it’s more a homestay than a hostel. the common areas are also their living areas.

Every thing was perfect

Every thing was wonderful. The location is perfect the scenery is beautiful on the baie. The hostel is big and clean. The host Carolina and her Kids are realy sweet. And good breakfast. I realy recommend a 100% this place. There is good hiking around and you can buy fish at the beatch and cook it at the hostel. Thank you Carolina.

The view is amazing but there is a steep walk to get up to the hostel. Not necessarily a bad thing but just a good thing to know.

The entrace is a bit steep. But that's what you get for staying the mountain and having an amazing view.

The place is great. Carolina was very nice and helpful. The hostel has an incredible view taganga, and the sea. The place is just like 3 mins away by walk from the shops.

The hotel is managed by a very nice and helpful family, there is a terrace to spend some time chilling in the hammocks. The breakfast were very nice as well and the hotel is located in a calm lane close to the village.

the hostel is at the top of a very steep hill and was quite hard to climb up with the luggage. but once I had my bag up it was the best feeling ever to enjoy the view and the chill athmosohere

The location is up on a steep hill, which means climbing quite a few stairs. We stayed in the Family room (4 beds) and it was not super clean.

We had a great 2 night stay in this property! It has an AMAZING sunset view on the rooftop terrace! The host was very friendly and helped us out with some transportation.

The view of this place is amazing! The staff were friendly. Breakfast was excellent. The bus can drop you off at the side street. Its a quick walk into town or the beach. They have fans in the room.

Carolina and her family make you feel immediately at home. It’s a steep walk up the mountain to enter the hostel, but the view is more than worth it. Cielo hostel is perfect place to experience the more tranquillo but excellent vibes of the fisherman’s village of Taganga.

I highly recommend Cielo hostel to anyone visiting Taganga, the hostel is up a little hill before you get to the main beach and there is just a short walk down. The view from the hotel balcony is incredible, it was so nice to wake up to during my stay. Cielo is run by Carolina, her 2 sisters and her son, Daniel, and the whole team are the loveliest people, so happy to help and make you feel like part of the family as soon as you walk in the door. The hostel has everything you need, it is very clean, there is a kitchen, and laundry service is also offered. I had such a lovely stay that I want to go back again! Thank you so much !!

Some of the owner's kids were a little inconsiderate when I was resting at the hammocks, and they put loud music while I was there, and came on and off to the kitchen making so much noise while I was there trying to rest for a little bit. The Delivery fares so this hostel are very high because it's very steep in the mountain, so keep that in mind. Walking to the main town was dangerous and unsafe. You can get robbed if you do so at specific times during the day. Go in groups or buy your own food. This hostel has a kitchen you can use (I think)

Excellent view of Taganga from this place. During the day, it's very hot at the rooftop, though. I would recommend adding a cover in the area, or a solarium place to take advantage of the sun during that time. The owners were very attentive, and kind. I noted a situation with the fan and the owner helped me right away, updating my room so that I could feel as comfortable as possible. Good customer service right there. Also good breakfast included in the booking and nice coffee. With that view was a breathtaking experience. If you're looking to take nice pictures of the area, this might be a good spot to do it.
