Our room was a mezzanine, very charming. Also the staff is so helpful, for any questions they had an answer. The location was great close to everything including nice restaurants and the beach and it is quiet at night

I had higher expectations in light of the rating/price. Overall Coco Sänkala was a good stay. I would personally, however, give it an 8.5 rather than a 9+.

Great breakfast, rooms look better than on the pictures. It's in the quiet area of Palomino, far from the noisy bars. A lot of hammocks and places to chill.

Brilliant location, out of the main touristy noisy area but very close to the beach and to the shops. Kitchen was very nice, the vibe in the hostel is very laid back, not a party hostel, the main area is full of hammocks with people just chilling out. The beds were comfy and the staff were very friendly

I had a small issue with the lock on my room door after the first time I went out. I was told to not lock the room door after that as the mechanism was broken.

We love everything about this hostel. Staff was kind, friendly and supportive! We had three choices of breakfast, which was included in cost of staying and every time breakfast was delicious. Coffee and water provided during all day. Kitchen was well equipped and available for visitors to cook. Our room was very comfortable with bed tables, side benches, a few hooks, a wall fan. It was easy to organize our stuff and still have neat room. They provided daily cleaning service of the room if you wish. The hostel was well maintained and very clean. They use sola panels. So, we had power in our rooms when whole town lost it. Location is great as well. In center of everything, but a little away from the main road. We did not have noise. Highly recommended!

Beautiful hostel, extremely friendly and helpful staff! A very relaxed atmosphere with plenty of places to chill out. A lovely breakfast, very comfortable beds with flynet, this hostel was really fantastic.

The sink could have been a little cleaner, but shower and toilet were fine.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had our laundry done there, which went really well. The pancakes for breakfast were delicious, although maybe a little too less. The hostal was also very calm, quiet and clean.

We had the room with mezzanine and slept at the top. It looks great but it is not so practical. You can't stand up straight without hitting your head on the roof. In addition, the room was too small for our backpacks and the mattress was quite hard. Apart from that, everything was perfect.

Nice hostel with a good atmosphere and lovely staff. The location is perfect. Close to everything, but far enough from the noise for a good night's sleep. Breakfast is fantastic!

WiFi connection wasn't great in the room, but WiFi in Palomino wasn't great in general. Need more places to hang up clothes to dry. Bathroom could use more frequent cleaning.

The hostel is set back from the beach by about 10 mins walk but actually this means it’s very quiet and away from the noise of the bars but in easy enough walking distance to have lots of restaurant options and just a short walk to the beach.

Loved our stay at Coco Sankala - super clean and comfortable rooms in transitional bamboo and palm leaf style. The staff were charming and so helpful, laundry service was great value and the first time in travelling that they’ve felt properly cleaned by a hostel!! Free breakfast was delicious and good value that it was included. Beautiful dogs / cats who are well looked after 😊

Wifi was not stable all the times. Too bad there was no swimming pool, even though I knew there would not be one.
