I was over the pool with one of the speakers below the room's balcony. They could move the speaker to a different area, as there are other speakers. This would allow the occupants of the front rooms, like mine, to take an afternoon nap. Also, set a time to turn the music off at night, such as 9 or 10 pm.

The staff was friendly and helpful. Outstanding view of the mountains and countryside. The breakfast was very good. In general, the food was very good.

The receptionist was not welcoming and despite several requests to speak Spanish slowly, she made no attempt to help me understand. I can speak Spanish reasonably well and tried several times to communicate however she spoke so quickly I resorted to English (which she spoke very badly). I felt like she found my presence annoying, and I found this attitude demeaning and embarrassing. Other staff were friendly and helpful.

Beautifully decorated hotel reasonably close to the center. The room was nice and quiet with a comfortable bed and nice shower. I appreciated the tv with sports streaming. The pool area looks nice. The breakfast is nice and filling.

The hotel itself was excellent. I would recommend that they abstain from constantly playing music loudly in common areas. It’s difficult to enjoy the space in peace. Additionally, nearby businesses and/or residences played loud music constantly and late into the early morning. We have traveled to Columbia several times and are always surprised at the lack of properly brewed coffee. The coffee served here was no exception.

The hotel was conveniently located on the main thoroughfare into the city and was near good restaurants and the center plaza. The hotel itself was quaint, clean, and aligned with the cultural character of the area. Staff was professional, courteous, and accommodating.

Manager Daisy was welcoming, professional, helpful & always there to care for her guests. The pool & jacuzzi are gorgeous as is the view from poolside. The room with a balcony & jacuzzi was huge & had tge BEST rain shower on tge planet. great towels & bedding too. there is paid guarded parking nearby although the town is safe & many park along the streets. we walked into other small hotels & in comparison, Hotel Nueva Granada was the nicest. very fair price too.

Wifi was weak. Windows have no glass, but that makes it more authentic.

Small hotel. Friendly and attentive staff if not a bit laid back. Very cool hotel done in the colonial style. I felt like I was back in 1850. Came mid-week so my friends and I had the place to ourselves. Quite room, comfortable bed.

The staff was amazing and went above and beyond to help us during our stay! We were visiting for a wedding, had done little research on the area and speak little to no Spanish. To say we had planned poorly would be an understatement, but luckily the hotel staff did everything they could to help us. We surely would have missed our flight home to the states if it wasn't for the manager stepping in to help us find a driver from Medellin!

The hotel, centrally located, did not have designated parking. There was constant noise from area residents, businesses, and the hotel; music playing loudly from early morning to late at night - unnecessary and unpleasant. The hotel “restaurant” menu was limited. The rooms were quaint but small.

The hotel was easy to reach and conveniently located near the center of the city with close access to restaurants and some markets. The facilities were nicely decorated and fitting with the Spanish colonial architecture. The weather was hot but the ac helped make it a pleasant stay. Staff was courteous, professional, and responsive.
