Everything was great

Everything about our stay at this property was fantastic. We stayed the last few days of our trip after already having spent some time in Bogota. The drive into central parts of the city is 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic. This property is in a safe, beautiful, residential area that, while within city limits has more of small town feel. There are incredible panoramic views of the city from the property. There is also a park and shops/commercial area within walking distance. It is a perfect base for taking day trips outside of, as well as within, Bogota. The owners will assist with arranging transportation and tours and are bilingual. The food is delicious. There are also working artists within the owners’ family and an art studio on site. They collect art, as well, and it will surround you during your stay.

The owners! Young! Hip! Kind! And very willing to make you’re travel experience a memorable, worry free vacation!! The staff is awesome!! The chef Tamara is caring! Kind and an exceptional chef!! My god! Her food is delicious 😋 the food flavors explode in savory dishes she prepares fresh from the open air kitchen they have at the property.. all staff members are respectful, attentive to all of you’re needs without imposing! Everyone there make you feel special! I was truly impressed!! Now the property is off the beaten path and not much activity around the area. You would need to take a taxi or rent a car, and there is no TV.. but so very worth the experience within the walls of the beautiful property!! During dinner they put some nice music! Light up the chimney and each dinner table had rose 🌹 petal and a bouquet of flowers 💐 for a romantic dinner!! Thank you 🙏 for making our time memorable.

Really a hidden gem in Bogota. An unassuming location in North Bogota that really shows it's character once you arrive. Nice rooms, nice staff, friendly owners and great food.

there was nothing we didn't like

Our stay at the hotel was exceptionally great. Very nice owners, with whom we had an interesting discussion and also learnt something about Colombian and Panamanian history. the facilities in the rooms are great the location is extremely safe. and the food and wine are really great. we felt very comfortable and in good hands. the only small downside is that the city and especially the old town are a bit far away, but in a city the size of bogota, everything is far away. it was definitely worth it and we are very grateful. if you take a taxi, you should make sure you choose a newer taxi as the old ones and the buses sometimes have problems with the mountain :)

Our whole experience at LA COLINA was 5 stars! A hidden oasis away from the noisy city, beautifully decorated, full of curious corners. The owners and staff treated us like family always making sure we were comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Our room was clean, spacious, and well equipped. Highly recommend.

Excellent boutique hotel to stay in the northern part of Bogotá. These hotel owners understand what the traveller expects and needs... A home far away from home... Excellent restaurant, with a passionate lady chef... Wauwh breakfast, no better words to be used for this..

Traffic in Bogota is very bad. It took us more than an hour to get to hotel from airport and also about an hour to downtown.

Depending on traffic, it can be difficult to get into downtown. But I would recommend staying in this quiet location.

Rooms were very comfortable and full of beautiful art. The breakfasts and dinner at restaurant were excellent. The staff took care of transports to / from airport and in / out of downtown (45 min) and even arranged a massage in my room! It is truly a remarkable boutique hotel and very reasonably priced.

You're a little far from everything with Uber are quick and cheap.

Bed was too soft and location is pretty remote from downtown. Ride to Plaza Bolivar without traffic is about 45 mins and with traffic can rise up to 1.5 h so be prepared.

Room was cozy and very clean. Decoration in the room gives it great energy. Also, breakfast was amazing! Staff and the owner were really helpful with good recommendations how to best use our time in Bogota.

At night was little bit cold and heater didn't work, we got a mobile one but it was not great for heating the room but we have several blankets so we didn't suffer of cold , but I would suggest to repair heating.

Nice hotel, little bit far but in car is accesible and also practical in the middle so let you access to all areas in the city and to get out of the city easily. Staff super friendly and accommodating as we needed to be out until late night due to car location issues and they were always there to allow us access. Parking is really practical. But you may need a car to reach there easily. Breakfast was really good, the best of our stay in Bogota.

it is not central, you if you want to be walking distance from amenities this is not the place. however, if you want a quiet place with clean air, exceptional views and service, and a short cab ride from the amenities, this is for you.

The best hotel and memory during our honey moon. We are amazed 100%. 1. Such Hospitality experience during our stay, thanks to owners and their people. 2. Great amount of art work used to decocate this exquisite hotel. One can expect four season's standard, but at a different price 3. Lovely food and breakfast included in our package. Besides, we found it easy to arrange a taxi and get around or book tour with the hotel. Before arriving here, we were in some concern but turns out to be not a problem at all.

Frederico is amazing, so helpful. This is a lovely good old-fashioned guest house. Food was great. Atmosphere cosy. We loved it.

Our hosts were amazing! From the moment we got there, we were greeted by their attentive and hospitable staff. We decided to stay here for my sisters birthday celebration and I'm happy that I did. We wanted something special for her, and our hosts delivered. Great surprise and delicious dinner. It's all about the experience for me and boy did they delivered.
