Simply stunning. I stayed for 3 nights after being at an intense detox retreat for a week and I wanted some time in nature to relax, integrate & reflect on my experience. Casa Bambu was perfect! So peaceful…The rooms are fabulous, the staff are super friendly and the food is delicious! Also great that you have the beach a short walk away. I saw one of the best sunsets ever at Sierra bar & I’ve seen a fair few around the world! WiFi is good. Perfect place to relax & disconnect.

We loved Casa Bambu - it's one of our favourites as we travelled around Colombia. The intimacy of this small hotel is magical and so peaceful. The restaurant staff are professional and their ease of being with smiles a plenty, adds to the relaxation of being here. The pool was very welcome after hiking Tyrona as well as just to be around while reading a book. A local beach, with a bar serving good cocktails, is a short walk away. A great spot to see the sunset between river and sea and the crocodiles that live there.

Everything. The location is stunning. Private beach and close to the forest. Saw a howler monkey! Great food and drinks! The room was amazing. The staff were great - super helpful and gave us ideas of places to explore.

Tastefully decorated, small hotel with comfortable bed, and very friendly staff. Pool area very nice and food was delicious. Location is superb - 2 min walk to beautiful beach and 5 min taxi to Tayrona park.

Can’t think of anything.

The staff and the food! We had thought about eating at a nearby restaurant one night but continued to choose our hotel- enough choices to be able to try different things. Maria and Joanna were so helpful as were others whose names I don’t remember. Other highlights: David the chef, the beautiful pool, air conditioning, and the finely landscaped grounds where we could birdwatch from our front deck.

Nothing. It’s flawless!

Holidays in Paradise. The hotel is flawless and the rooms big and beautiful with high ceilings. It is a quit place. Everything has taste. The staff and the food were amazing. What I found special was how well kept was the garden around. The hotel is a beautiful small walk from the beach but compared has the most green and a perfect pool.

Casa Bambu is a paradise on Earth! The location, setting, service and staff are all marvellous! You’ll be lucky to spend your vacation here. The food is excellent as well and everybody super nice. Recommended to the fullest!

Not walkable to a swimming beach

Everything about our stay in casa bambu was wonderful. The staff were fantastic and the food was incredible and more reasonably priced than we were expecting. The facilities were spacious, comfortable and clean and we didn't ever feel like it was too busy there

The location is an oasis of green, bird singing and tranquility. The habitations are airy, beds comfy, well spaced..pool great. Manuel and desk staff so calm, friendly and helpful. We stayed 4 nights and ate each evening. The kitchen team were unquestionably the loveliest ladies and gentlemen ever. Always smiling despite our limited Spanish.The food was high quality, varied, healthy. We went out each day, swam in rock pools, went Tubing at Don Diego and heard howler monkeys, 2 of party did hike to Playa at Tayrona PNN and saw monkeys and crocs. Gracias a todos.

Peaceful and quiet. Nice pool under palms. There is 8 bungalows with comfy big bed. Short walk to the beach however the sea is not to swim, huge waves! Lovely to look at. Nice bar “Sierra bar” with lovely view worth to visit. The personnel very friendly and helpful. Reception did an excellent job for us helping to fix transportation to Cartagena with the company which was not the perfect one.Finally we did it. THANK YOU 🙏.

My only complaint is that the bed was not particularly comfortable. It was nice and large but very firm and springy.

This place is paradise. Quiet and tranquil with lots of birds all around. You are immersed in nature. The on-site restaurant is exquisite and cocktails and great. Private beach access to beautiful sunsets where the river flows into the sea is unbeatable. Highly recommend!

It is a hotel exclusively for resting, there isn’t any music in any common space or anything to do except to go to the pool.

The hotel is really comfortable and private since there are only 8 cabins. The staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious.

The facilities, the pool, the tranquility, and the warmth of the staff were all excellent. The food was also very good and reasonably priced. While swimming in the sea is not allowed, the views of the sea and the river are incredible, and it's the perfect place to relax and forget about everything. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Food can take a little while sometimes, but always worth the wait and fresh. A couple of chairs in the cabaña would be nice.

Perfection is the right word for the stay. Casa Bambu is a small very well designed hotel with only 8 rooms which creates a very relaxing and calm atmosphere. The beautiful rooms were very clean and big. The pool was very very clean. The food was beyond amazing - we tried a lot of different dishes and each of it was amazing. Although you can't really top all the things listed it has to be said that the STAFF ARE THE HEART of the hotel. It is incredible how friendly, nice and attentive everyone was. Samantha, Manuel, Marta provided us with information regarding the Tayrona Park and the nearby beaches as well as transportation and so on. Maria and her colleagues spoiled us with the best food in an incredibly loving way. THEY made the stay to an absolute dream. Every employer can be so lucky and proud to have them.
