There was no electricity in our room for the whole 6 days stay so we had to use our phone light or candles in the night. You can hear the neighbors in other rooms because the walls are not up to the ceiling so we got woken up at 2am. The breakfast is very little like 1 arepa with eggs so it's really not enough to wait between meals. You need to have extra food with you but there is nothing to buy at less than 20min walking to Termales village.

Location is excellent in front of the beach and far from the noisy villages. Very beautiful nature in the hostel. You can have all meals in there. Staff is friendly . There is a water filter to provide free water and sometimes free coffee

Facilities are basic but location is remote so comes with territory!

It’s a amazing location on the beach with jungle and mangroves behind! Sopita was a wonderful host and helped me find a way to pay when I didn’t have enough efectivo! Plenty of fresh tuna around for ceviche was another highlight!

The host were so incredibly friendly and nice. They greeted me with a coconut with a flower in it when I arrived and prepared coconuts for me often when I came back from a day. The room was right in front of the beach so I could go to sleep listening to the waves crash and watch the sunset from the hammock on my front porch. I was there during the low tourist season so it was very peaceful and quiet and this place is located between the two towns (about a 15 min walk to each town) so it was maybe the most peaceful place I’ve ever been. They also keep the grounds very clean, are very helpful with any questions, and Pengo is an excellent chef!

    Nothing

Very special people who love to look after their guests and beautiful food. Although I put 10 for facilities, do realise this is simple. clean accommodation without frills as you would expect in an out of the way area. The peace and general atmosphere are perfect.

What a place, a family, an amazing food and a lot more. Here you’ll feel part of a local family, learn about their culture and get to know their generosity and constant happiness. Moreover the mother Sopita is the greatest cook in town and you’ll get the chance to taste the best pacific food I’ve had so far. If youre thirsty more than hungry just ask for a free coconut straight from the garden, as They have plenty of coconut palm surrounding the place. In the morning youll wake up in front of the see, lay in the hammock or go straight surfing or whale watching as you prefer, with almost no other tourist around. This place is paradise on earth.
