The room I stayed in had a lot of bugs coming in at night making it difficult to sleep, and there were often dead bugs in the bed. I think there might have been a hole in the ceiling where they were coming in from. I also think the breakfast could have had a little more variety and food.

I loved the location which was beautiful and the rooms are exactly as they appear in the pictures with big picture windows of the lake. The owner was very flexible and was able to organize transportation and tours for us.

The landscape is awesome, great location,the service was great, but the best recommendation which is a MUST is taking a 20 min drive in the FIB (flying inflated boat)!!

Amazing location with beautiful view on the lake and El Penol. Very quiet and relaxing surroundings. Staff is amazing and very helpful. We loved the fact that the place is not crowded with extra cottages but that it was kept spacious and with respect for nature. It is maybe a bit further away from Guatape (for restaurants etc), but it is so easy with a 5 min drive with Tuk Tuk (18.000 COP) that it is no problem at all and the place certainly makes up for it. Also check out time of 1pm is very convenient.

Nothing we did not like.

We liked the location and service the most. It is unique place by the lake, very quiet and peaceful. It is beautiful and well-maintained. And the caretaker, Cery was especially helpful in every way. The breakfast was perfect too.

The only thing I would change would be mattresses as they were firm and not comfortable but that my be a personal preference.

The walkway with railing all around the property which was surrounded by the lake. Areas to sit and relax with beautiful views. loved the hammocks and breakfast and spacious casita.

Protection against sun light - in the morning people used to sleep in a full black out room will wake up with the light. Just a minor thing that could be improved to make the stay 100% perfect!

There wasn't anything we didn't like! This place is perfect!

We liked El Trebol very much! Its a perfect space to relax, rest and get inspired by the wonderful view of Guatape. The facilities were very comfortable and a lot of great details to make the staying perfect! The breakfast was delicious and abundant with a lot of options to choose from. Luz was always attentive to all of our requirements by giving an immediate answer, a lot of activities to make in the place. I completely recommend this place and I am waiting to come back and stay for a few days chilling there.

There was nothing to dislike at the property.

Owner of 14 years speaks English. Staff are Friendly and helpful. Gated property with quiet grounds, beautiful views, and lots of plants, trees, and private walking trails for exploration, relaxation, and overall enjoyment. Comfortable beds and bedding. Hot shower, Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, electric stove, with plenty of cookware, dining ware, and utensils. Choice of breakfast delivered to your cabaña. Television and fresh cut flowers in the room.

sadly the bungalows are a little older and the walls are quite thin. I believe the place would need a larger renovation soon, and please get a mosquito net. i had to hunt them at night for a couple of hours....

really nice staff that is sooo helpful! the place is located close to the water and with a stunning view. very good breakfast! you can get there with a standard car, no larger bumps or pottholes on the way to the hotel

Everything was fine

The location and overall conditions are perfect. A lot of outdoor activities and facilities. Really nice staff, friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is generous with all sorts of food and beverage options.

the property is fairly isolated from other homes and hotels. The views are terrific and the two docks on the reservoir provide a relaxing atmosphere. The casita was perfect…. it was clean and the decorations were welcoming.

Amazing place! Tranquil setting outside the centre (15,000 in a tuc tuc)The staff were so attentive and it’s the perfect place to unwind. The wifi works brilliantly in the rooms and public areas. Lots of activities like kayaking (25,000 an hour) and micro flight to see Guatepe which is an incredible experience and a must do! Thank you to all the staff for an amazing experience of Guatepe

great secluded location. breakfast was included with fresh local fruit, coffee, hot cocoa as well as fresh natural juices with nothing added. staff very attentive, friendly and warm. they made me feel at home. nice setting. hamaca, nice sitting areas.

What an amazing stay! A beautiful location surrounded by lake views and wonderful nature. Kind and helpful staff doing their best to make it an even better experience. Delicious food. And a terrain full of romantic places to sit and watch out over the lake. Highly recommended. Wish we could have stayed longer.
