Amazing place in Salento I stayed 3 nights in the Hostel. The staff is really helpful. Above all Juli was really nice. She is organizing lots of activities in the hostel. I recommend this hostel :)

This is the third Viajero I’ve been to, and the facilities, ambiance and staff were exceptional as always. I missed my bus transfer, and reception was incredibly helpful pushing my reservation back, which I greatly appreciated.

The breakfast could’ve been a little better but still pleasant. Also they blast music until late in the evening which can get annoying if you are trying to have an early night.

We enjoyed the view from our balcony, the friendly staff, and all of the free activities the hostel had offered .

My stay at Viajero Hostel was an absolute delight from start to finish! There apparently was a major water damage in Salento while we were there which forced the hostel to use reserve tanks. There were a few times where those were empty and we weren’t able to shower, use the toilet or the sink. The hostel is not to blame as the whole town was impacted, but it would have been great if the $5000 one-time fee to use filtered water could have been lifted at that time

Great hostel, amazing location, the view outside is stunning. In comparison to other Viajero hostels this one is smaller and human-sized. Staff are really nice and activities are organised every night, we took part in a sound healing meditation yesterday which we really enjoyed

The shower pressure was sometimes low, the room felt very outdated, particularly the bathroom.

I was in the end private room near the breakfast/social area so it was noise pretty much 24 hours cos there was no noise insulation. However, my ear plugs worked well so I still got good nights sleep each night. My private room was nice but basic and expensive for what you get. £100 a night at a hostel is too much. Breakfast was mediocre at best.

Without doubt the best thing about the hostel was the view from my room and balcony. Early morning I could see the sun coming over the mountains. Beautiful. It also had a nice vibe amongst the travellers. Travelling solo you can meet people easily. Salento is a small town so the location was great cos you could walk to anywhere.

I think the main chilling area could be a bit more comfortable I lacked a bit more hammocks or couches to chill.

The view was amazing and very relaxed vibe. Staff was super helpful and recommended nice activities.

The room was not that great. I stayed in the 6 bed dorm and I've stayed in nicer dorms for less money. But not terrible at all and I slept very well. But I would recommend it for sleeping between hikes.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and the outside area was beautiful. Those two aspects basically made it worth the money.
