How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

I like the location, staff is really nice. They only speak Spanish but a small conversation works. Good, hot shower and good airco. WiFi is good as well

Noise of construction upstairs.

Bathroom is so small that all the time you bunch in something, maybe it is better door of the bathroom to be removed to get a little bit more space. Also some hangers in the room and in the bathroom are missing. Only small window in the corridor which makes the room pretty wet and light very bad.
The most of all location is perfect close to cafes, restaurants and pubs and in the same time 10min on foot to the El Poblado metro station. Room is small and cozy. Bed and pillows are super comfortable. Staff is so nice and trying to help with every request.

- The hotel room are pretty small and have no window but a small high one that look into the main corridor, not what you see on the pictures, we spend most of our time outside so it was ok but it's not ideal. - The bathroom is really really small, there is no carpet on the floor for when you get out of the shower, only one hook for your towel and not towel for your hand. - The room are a bit humid
- The location is great, right in El Poblado but still in a quiet area surrounded by plenty of amazing coffee shop and restaurant. - Close the the subway station which is really convenient - The staff (especially night shift) was really nice and helpful and gave us some good advise. They also borrow us a metro card for our stay. - Water pressure and temperature in the shower was good.

Great, safe location. You can reach many restaurants in just a few minutes by foot. Metro stop and big supermarket also in walking distance. Easy check in process, quiet, good AC, nice shower with hot water, modern and new. You don't get any daylight as there is no window but we didn't mind; bathroom is pretty small. Our room was cleaned after two nights which we appreciated. Overall we were really happy with our choice and would stay at Elemont again!

My could've used a refrigerator. The blankets given to me by the staff could've been a little more comfortable but not bad.
Loved the cleaniness of the Elemont loved the location it was quiet and quaint. Near El Pablado. But not with all the noise and people. Staff was friendly and helpful

Small rooms and very basic. Recommend looking around the area using a variety of sources before committing to this.
Clean hotel and friendly staff. Great location and ideal hotel if you are going to spend all your time out and about day and night.

Not a well designed hotel. Noisy due to the room being directly connected to the main corridor near reception. Thin walls and was woken up regularly in the night due to noises from other rooms/hallway etc. also no extractor fan in the bathroom. No small lamp light for evenings

When we left the hotel the girl at the reception offered us to order a cab, because Uber did not come she said that it would cost about 20 dollars, which was cheaper than Uber. In the end, the cab driver took 30 bucks from us ..... The driver said that such a price could not be.
The hotel is nice and the price is quite good

The didn't have a window and was tiny. We knews that, so it was okay. But some time later we've found out that we got double charged for the room - let's see if we get a refund.
Great location in Manila. We've booked it just for one night, so it's okay.
